Our story covers 16 years staring with a disused rubbish dump for a pool and turning it into an indoor gas heated facility. We operated for 4 years as just an outdoor pool, we had difficulty making our business work because we could only run 2 terms a year and it made it difficult to keep customers and staff members over the winter. We got the pool enclosure 12 years ago and since then our business has gone from strength to strength. Being able to offer an all weather facility has meant greater retention of staff and customers, it gave us the opportunity to build every term. We love the flexibility of being able to open the pool up on summer days to have that magic feel of outdoor swimming and the steamy magic of winter swimming in a bubble. It has been such an easy solution with no ventilation system required because it is easy to regulate the temperature by opening segments or closing them to make the right environment to match the weather conditions. Better yet, only one person is needed to move the segments so it means that I don't need a number of staff to operate the enclosure. This has been an absolute game changer and we love it!
I stumbled across South Pacific Pool Enclosures whilst trying to find a company in NZ that could supply and fit a dome over my 6mtr round pool.
