   How Chrissy's Bistro remains in business simply defies logic. The Cashier and Supervisor are two of the most intimidating, hostile and vile people you are ever going to come across. The fact that they are in customer facing roles is unbelievable. I have witnessed the most appalling interactions between these two staff and customers when Chrissy's team get things wrong. Their approach is to shout and yell at customers and deflect from their poor service and food quality. I feel very sorry for the customers on the receiving end and the poor people who try and stand up to them - they are torn down and remonstrated with. These people need help with their anger management and customer service. I cannot think of any other situation, real or in the movies where I have witnessed such poor behaviour. I am surprised that whoever has agreed to their contract continues to tolerate / condone this behaviour. Avoid!

   Wow oh wow - quite simply Chrissy's Bistro is the worst example of customer experience I have ever personally witnessed. Before I get into what happened, firstly the food / ambience: The definition of Bistro is "a small, relatively simple restaurant, especially one offering French or French-style food. The bistro offers a more relaxed setting for dining". To be clear: - Chrissy's Bistro is the antithesis of this definition: - It is not "small" it is essentially co-located in the Naenae Bowling Clubrooms alongside dart boards, with a bar and pokies near by, - It definitely is not "relaxed" - it feels very much like a bingo hall. - The menu is cafe basic, their "specialty" is toasted sandwiches!! There is a lot of cabinet food - the sausage rolls at $5 each were without doubt the worst I've tasted and the $3 slices were below supermarket quality but with a materially higher price point. Eclipsing the poor food offerings was the customer service. I witnessed the most appalling interactions between Chrissy's staff and customers. I'd describe the interactions as bullying, abusive and incredibly aggressive. Much of the clientele when I visited were elderly - there was a big queue to be served at lunchtime and this person wanted a toasted sandwich. Apparently she needed to have pre-ordered it. Rather than calmly explaining the situation I witnessed an extremely aggressive rant by the cashier (a female with red dyed hair) scolding the customer that they should have known about this requirement. The cashier wasn't happy to take the order and then the Supervisor started yelling at the customer from the kitchen. It was completely out of line and out of all perspective to the situation. The result - the customer was upset and the queue of waiting customers incredulous. Many of the following customer interactions were gruff at best - the cashier doesn't know how to interact with customers in a pleasant manner; she glowers and snaps at people like a yapping dog. I do not know what the contractual relationship is with the Naenae Bowling Club, but the attitude of the Cashier and the Supervisor reflects extremely poorly on the venue. My advice to anyone thinking of eating here - DON'T.

   Would be interesting to see what the service is like here, as Chrissy’s Bistro also provides the catering at the Naenae Bowling Club and we received the most appallingly rude, aggressive and simply shocking service from one of Chrissy’s staff (or possibly Chrissy herself) while there. It’s a wonder she manages to stay in business if that’s how she is in the habit of treating her customers. Most of the food was quite nice, shame about the garbage attitude.

   Excellent, tasty and affordability food with excellent service. We had the chicken snitzel meal for $15 and if was so good that I wrote this review. The team tonight were on fire!
