   Extremely disapointed with all aspects of this venue. Service was poor, toilets beyond worthy of any human using them and no air con/fans on. Shame really, as would of been happy to spend more money on games and drinks if better standard. Up your game guys.

   Their setup is quite old and not functioning properly. We had to go to desk to ask them to reset after almost every turn. They were keep switching our lane which was also very annoying but all lanes have same issue. Every ball has cracks and uneven surface. I do not recommend going to this place.

   The 10 pin game was bugging the whole time, had to move lanes 3 times and couldn’t even finish the game because the balls all stacked up at the back of the lane lolll. The big guy with a beard was triggered and unhelpful right off the bat after we asked for even just partial compensation. Terrible customer service.

   My recent visit to Westgate Bowling at Westgate Shopping Centre was incredibly disappointing. From the start, the place was a letdown. As an experienced bowler with my own gear, I found the conditions here far from acceptable. The facility was in a sorry state—dirty, disorganized, and run-down. The atmosphere was unpleasant, which made the experience all the more frustrating. When I arrived with a group of three, the staff member at the counter struggled with basic English. I tried to order two games and a beer, but communication was a challenge. I ended up pointing and repeating my request, but he only charged me for one game and a beer. In retrospect, this was fortunate because enduring two games in such poor conditions would have been unbearable. The lanes were in awful condition—completely dry with no oil, making it difficult to bowl. The bumpers were in disrepair; one was stuck extended and the other retracted. Despite asking for a fix, they couldn’t resolve the issue and refused to let us switch to a different lane. The equipment seemed neglected for years, with the house balls dinged up and the lanes visibly worn due to lack of maintenance. At one point, the balls got stuck and wouldn’t return. The seating was also filthy and clearly not maintained. Another staff member, who appeared to be the counter person’s spouse, came to fix the bumpers. She didn’t say a word, just kicked the bumpers and gave a thumbs-up, though the problem wasn’t fixed. The beer selection was decent, but I didn’t check out the food. Given the overall state of the place, I can’t imagine it would be any better. Overall, the experience was so bad that none of us will be coming back. The place needs a complete overhaul—better maintenance and management are essential. It seems they’re cutting corners by not keeping the equipment in good shape or replacing worn-out house balls. I’m honestly surprised they’re still in business. Leaving was the best part of the visit. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

   How far this place has fallen. Half the lanes are out of order and the ones that work are run down and in various stages of decay. Bathrooms are disgusting, it’s safer to not wash your hands as you’ll most likely catch something off of the basin. If your lucky a game in the arcade might be working. Basically don’t come here for bowling, they only cater for those wanting to waste themselves into oblivion with the consumption of alcohol and those spending this months power bill on the pokies.

   I only went in to have a dabble on the pokies. The family were all out so I was killing time. The staff were pleasant and helpful as I needed a different chair as I have a wee mobility problem. They got me a chair I could sit in without hesitation however I has asked the boss who was going yo get one and 30 mins layer still no show. While there I went to the bathroom. Wow, nothing has changed in here for over 3 years. The toiletseat is still broken, toilet not cleaned, door yo disability loo has a massive gap so no privacy and no soap. Wow, how do they manage to stay open and why aren't they doing the maintenance which they can claim through the gaming funds.

   One star for a cheap group rate! Zero for cleanliness - bathrooms were grimy and no paper in one despite it being morning! Obviously haven't been cleaned for a while! We had some issues with the scoreboards not working properly. Staff were ok but not overly friendly

   Went with some friends on Sunday (all 25+) The place needs some loving and fun put back into it. The lady working there was so sour. When we went to pay she didn’t say anything the whole time not even a hello. She clearly did not want to be there. The overall experience was good, atmosphere wise, there was one other couple there on a Sunday? Her service was really bad.

   I recently visited Westgate bowling and was extremely disappointed with the overall experience. The machines seemed to be constantly breaking down, which made it difficult to enjoy a full game. On top of that, the place looked tired and in need of refurbishing. It was clear that it had not been well-maintained. In addition to the issues with the machines, there was a noticeable lack of staff on hand to assist customers. It seemed that there were not enough employees to adequately manage the facility and provide assistance when needed. Overall, I would not recommend Westgate bowling. The combination of poorly functioning machines and a lack of staff made for a frustrating and unpleasant experience. If you're looking for a good place to bowl, I would suggest finding another location.
