   Subject: Extremely Disappointed with Chemist Warehouse's Heartless Policy and Poor Service I am writing to express my profound disappointment and frustration with my recent experience at Chemist Warehouse, 124 Manukau Road, Pukekohe. What should have been a simple customer service interaction revealed a company that prioritizes profit over patient care and common sense. Two days ago, I purchased two packs of Muninex for a chesty cough. Unfortunately, the product did not provide the relief I needed. Since one pack was still completely sealed and intact, I returned to the store to request a refund for the unopened item. My request was flatly denied by the retail staff (Ara, Leah, and Antonia). The reason given was both illogical and insulting: "Once medicine is sold, it cannot be refunded as it might have been stored in a hot car, making it ineffective." This justification is utterly ridiculous. If they are so concerned about temperature control, why do they offer online delivery? Does a delivery truck magically maintain a climate-controlled environment? Their logic is inconsistent and seems designed solely to reject legitimate customer requests. To make matters worse, when I stood my ground, the staff simply left my medication and receipt at the cashier and ignored me, clearly hoping I would give up and go away. This is not customer service; it is dismissive and unprofessional behaviour. I wasted my time, and at $28, this was a significant waste of money. This situation was compounded by the poor advice I received at the original purchase. When I bought the two boxes, the staff member insisted they couldn't be on the same receipt and had to be processed separately. Why didn't she use her common sense and advise me to try one first and then come back for another if it worked? This would have prevented this entire issue. This experience has made it crystal clear: Chemist Warehouse cares only about the sale, not about the customer's well-being or their medical condition. They are happy to take your money but offer zero empathy or support when a product doesn't work as needed. I will never shop at Chemist Warehouse again and will certainly not be sending my prescriptions to them. I strongly advise others to consider pharmacies that actually stand behind their products and value their customers' health over a quick dollar.

   Ordered online and called Pukekohe The Zone Chemist Warehouse tonight and the team member on the phone (I didnt get his name sorry) he helped quickly to get online order ready for collection for my son to pickup as my Grandson needed his formula. Thankyou so much really appreciate it! A+++ service

   Girl on the counter needs to get some personality. If you are disinterested leave. The security guard is always cheerful and polite. Found what I was looking for but cheaper to get online.

   Terrible service. I went in to get the baby box, I read the label twice and not once did it say “excludes baby food” it says excludes milk powder and medicines. I had spent $188 there, exclude the food I purchased my total cost was $67.9 on other baby items and the cashier said nothing just said I wasn’t eligible. It’s absolute nonsense that she said nothing about needing to spend another $1.10 for the baby box. The cashier and manager were both incredibly rude. Would not recommend going there

   Disgusting treatment by the pharmacist. I sent my husband to purchase fungal cream as I was unable to leave the house and she shamed him and wouldn't sell it to him. I tried talking to her on the phone and told her my symptoms multiple times and that I was familiar with the cream as I had used it before but she still refused to sell to us. She kept saying it's pharmacy only medicine and that she can't sell it to us. Anyone would think it was prescription only medicine the way she was carrying on. Thankfully Bargain Chemist just down the road was happy to help my husband without creating a big embarrassing scene.
