   Even though far from India, Yogiji feels like home. They go above and beyond to ensure the Indian community never misses its culinary traditions. With the newly expanded interior, the space is more comfortable, and their ready-to-cook options are both varied and convenient. As a Keralite, I’m delighted to find favorites such as Pazhampori, Aviyal, Appam, Dosa, and Unniyappam, along with many other local fried snacks. Their attractively low prices on staple foods make it easier for the Indian community to enjoy familiar tastes and ensure no one goes without food.

   I bought some snacks and drinks today from Yogiji Food Mart, including Frooti and Mango Mazaa. Unfortunately, both drinks did not taste good. The Frooti had a strange medicine-like smell and taste, and the expiry date was very close. The Maza drink I bought today also didn’t taste as good as the one I bought two months ago — that older one had a long expiry date (2026), but today’s one is close to expiry. Please check the stock properly, especially the Frooti drinks, as it might not be safe to sell to customers if the quality is like this. I really hope the store takes care of product freshness and expiry dates.

   Rude staff at the filling. I would recommend the management to train their staff well regarding customer interaction and customer service first. Hope the staff is well trained soon enough and they learn the customer service/customer interaction much better or they could be loosing the business even after promoting specials on occasions and there are many grocery stores available in near by area with far better customer service despite more busier than this. But their staff have never been rude to anyone I suppose.

   I have a very bad experience with Yogijis food mart, mt roskill. I bought a batter(Amma batter) from here for $13.99. When I opened the container at home, I found the batter was spoiled. Still two more days are pending for its expiry but its colour and taste changed. On the very next day I went to the store for reporting this case. When I reported this issue to store manager, she refused to admit it and told they won't provide any refund. I just want to say that I don't want any of your pity refund but need a worthy grocery.

   i love this place because you can get all the general grocery items here under the one roof. especially for the indian grocery items. even more you can get fresh vegetables and frozen items as well. i have recently been there, and i got two boxes of indian magoes. It's very nice in the test and fresh also. it is also a reasonable price compared to other places in Auckland.

   First time dropping by here, will be back for more. Usually shop my Indian groceries at Lotus but was impressed with Yogiji's. Variety is less compared to Lotus but the place is very organized and there are quite a different stock of items which I haven't come across in Lotus. Found Paperboat, Karachi Bakery and puffed rice which I had been looking for a while. Try this place out, you won't be disappointed.

   I gave the checkout girl my shopping bag to pack and she refused. After I packed my own shopping I suggested that packing groceries could be part of the service and her response was we don’t do it in other stores so it is unlikely. She wouldn’t even let me finish before starting to serve the next person. Poor service.
