Went here for the 1st time & got the best experience I could have hoped for. They were friendly, kind, knowledgable, and empathetic. Basically everything you hope for when walking into the dentist. I will take extra good care of my teeth just so I don't disappoint these lovely people when I come back.
Just had my first visit here after years of not going to the dentist. The staff were so kind, understanding and professional. I felt like I was treated fairly and was in a judgement free environment. I genuinely felt cared for and that the services were fair and not a rip off like some other places can be. I will be recommending people here.
Love the friendly, respectful and compassionate dental service received here. After many moons of not taking care of my oral health I was absolutely scared to book myself in to the dentist after so long. But after years of enduring tooth pain I knew I had to take the plunge and I'd heard good things about Sunshine Dental Porirua. I am so glad that I did because the dental surgeon Mia is lovely and I have never felt so comfortable whilst being vulnerable to seek help. Mia is kind and such a people person who can make anyone's anxiety and fear vanish in an instant. Thank you Mia and the dental assistants for the amazing job you do to help people like me feel safe in great hands. I highly recommend Sunshine Dental Porirua and Johnsonville to everyone. Really lovely service, saw me last minute, explained all pricing up front and any potential risks. Appointment was quick and painless. Very appreciative! Would absolutely recommend.

If would use 0 starts I could. I've been in this place 3 times, and they never took even 10 minutes to attended me. The first time, I went for a revision because of an infected tooth, the revision lasted 5 minutes. Then I went to extract that tooth, and during it instead of waiting the necessary time for the anesthesia to make effect, they only continued to apply one anesthesia after another. Literaly, 7 minutes after comming in to the consulting room, I was already out, without even asking how I was, or taking the time to give me any recomendation. Not to mention that the tooth next to the extracted one was also in bad condition, and they neven noticed. Two weeks after the extraction I went because I had a lot of pain, and the consultation was for only 5 minutes again, giving me a very bad recommendation for the tooth in bad condition (It's not my opinion, it's what my new dentist says), and not even worring or asking about the extream pain that I was still having after 2 weeks of the extraction. Really, don't loose your time, your money, and most importat, your HEALTH with these people.
Excellent customer service, made to feel at home. Very quick to accept appointment as all other dental practices were fully booked. I had a toothache and was shown an abscess on the Xray. Nice comforting music and the assistance were very cheerful. It took several anaesthetic injections to hide the pain, but once I felt some discomfort I was given another shot and had the tooth out. I can now sleep in peace.
Excellent service. Hadnt visited a dentist for almost 10 years. The staff were easily approachable and very helpful! Am due for another appointment next week to get my teeth treated. Looking forward to the awesome customer service once again. Great effort team! Keep it up. Highly recommend to those who classify themselves as potential new customers!
Sorry review is Abit delayed but better late than never i would like to share My experience here at the dental centre. I visited the surgery a few months ago as i had not been to a dentist in a long time before this so i was very nervous not knowing what to expect i was anxious but as soon as I met the front desk staff I felt relieved and calm. I am very happy i went through with my visit there with Nick Bohra he is a great dentist i will highly recommend and the other staff members there are awesome too and very friendly i look forward to my next visit great work guys. Very happy client.
