   This is the best garden centre in New Zealand, without a doubt. The finest collection of exotic, tropical plants I’ve seen anywhere and some really quite rare plants as well. The prices are extremely good, I was very surprised. Jules, the owner was so welcoming and helpful! The whole experience was quite wonderful. I really can’t recommend it enough, I was blown away!

   Absolutely thrilled with our new tropical/zen garden! From the very start, working with Jules was a pleasure. We chose the plants together, with her advising us whenever something wasn’t going to fit the vision, and her expert planning of the placement—making sure every choice was suited perfectly to the conditions—made all the difference. The transformation is stunning. Her team worked exceptionally hard throughout the entire project, and the results speak for themselves. The garden is vibrant, colourful, and has a calm, tropical feel that’s even better than we imagined. We’ve already had lots of people walking past and saying how great it looks! Communication with Jules was spot on from beginning to end. She kept us updated, listened to what we wanted, and brought ideas that elevated the whole space. The final result was more than we could have hoped for. Highly, highly recommended!

   WOW – what a place! I come here all the time; it’s genuinely my favourite garden centre. This spot doesn’t get nearly enough hype and is such a hidden gem!! The plants are excellent VALUE for money, and there are always fantastic SPECIALS on. I was so impressed by the huge range of plants – hedging, edibles, natives, subtropicals, topiary, specimen trees and so much more! There’s plenty of parking, and the staff are incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. The whole atmosphere feels like a little retreat with the way it’s been landscaped, and it’s perfect for little ones to explore, too. Once you discover this place, you won’t want to go to another garden centre! Well done Jules and the team - you will see me again.

Jules is so knowledgeable about landscaping, and it’s great to chat with her about plants, gardens, and even life in general! She’s always there to help with anything we need, and her team is super supportive and friendly too. This year, they really stood out at the Auckland Home Show, showing how much care and love they put into their plants. Everything from their nursery looks amazing and is always top quality. It’s not just about the plants—they’re a fantastic team to deal with. Jules and her staff make everything easy and enjoyable, and we can always count on them. If you’re looking for the best plants and trees in Auckland or want a garden that looks amazing all year round, I couldn’t recommend Touch of the Tropics more. They’re the best! :)

Grown on site, direct from the grower. Prices very reasonable. Edibles: Fruit trees, larger Citrus and Subtropical Edibles like Bananas, Cherimoya's, Passionfruit, Gingers, & Feijoas, massive blueberries & more. Landscaped within a jungle amphitheater. Stunning displays with combinations of plantings for Gardening inspiration, with a few surprises ! Consultation and mobile Plant placement services available. Qualified staff happy to help and assist you with design ideas. Delivery service available too. AMAZING West Auckland Garden Centre & Nursery, always something new and exciting. Open daily.
