    Do not recommend Big Save. We waited a month before our sofa arrived at the store. Was forever chasing by phone and given the constant run around. 1 month after it was paid for, we collected it. It started to sagg shortly after purchase. I contacted 3 months after and was given the absolute run around. Was told it needed to be inspected. Allowed for inspection for warranty purpose. Was advised that we needed to wait 3 plus months for repair..3 months of no contact and we were still chasing. Was told it would be in the new year. Requested a refund. Collection was fast but now have to wait for a week for a refund. Next stop, commerce commission. Never again, Big Save Furniture. Worse retailer to deal with. 6months wait for rememdy. Can see why they offer a 2 year warranty as it takes 6months to resolve.

She was incredibly knowledgeable and guided me through the entire process of choosing the perfect sofa. Teresa took the time to understand what I was looking for and offered helpful suggestions without any pressure. What impressed me most was how well she communicated—keeping me updated every step of the way, from purchase to delivery. The sofa arrived right on time and in perfect condition. Excellent customer service from start to finish. Highly recommend both BigSave Westgate and Teresa!

    Absolutely frustrating experience at Big Save Westgate. I ordered couches over four weeks ago, and they still haven’t been delivered. Every time I call, I get conflicting information, no clear delivery date, and promises that never happen. The store manager, Gary, has been dismissive and unhelpful, leaving me to chase answers with no resolution. Poor communication, repeated delays, and zero accountability have made this a complete ordeal. I expected reliable service, but instead, this has been a stressful and disappointing experience.

    Couch: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Service: ⭐️☆☆☆☆ Communication: ☆☆☆☆☆ So I like my couch, but it really wasn't worth the hassle. The in-store service was great… up until they forgot to actually book the delivery with the warehouse. On delivery day, I hadn’t heard anything, so I called to check. They confirmed the delivery date was on the order — but pointed out that it was never booked with the warehouse (that part was just... missed). And of course, the staff member I dealt with was on holiday. They rescheduled but couldn’t deliver the next day — apparently, they needed more notice even though it was their mistake and the couch was ordered 2 weeks prior. Tuesday rolls around, and the delivery truck crashes. I get it — things happen. I appreciated being told, and they said it would come Wednesday instead. Wednesday? No confirmation of time. I called multiple times and kept being told someone would speak to the logistics team or a manager and get back to me. They never did. After basically calling every hour for an update, I finally get told at 4:30pm it’s not coming — it’s now too late. I now cannot leave early from work for a 3rd day, so I asked for Friday (a public holiday) — again, they said they’d check and get back to me. Surprise: they didn’t. Friday morning, I get told they can’t deliver on a public holiday. If they had said that on Wednesday, I could have made a plan for Thursday or booked it in for Saturday, but of course now its too short notice to book it in for Saturday. So we rebook for Sunday. The couch finally arrives on Sunday — no confirmed time or delivery details. OVERALL... I like the couch but would have happily bought a different couch to avoid all of that!

    Big save more like big waste of space if I could give minus 5 I would. Purchased a bed in September told it would be 6 weeks away. Time passed we had no bed also no contact from the store about any delay. The app then changed delivery to be 19/12. 13 weeks after buying the bed. 19/12 the truck pulled up Infront of the house and then drove off. Partner had rung the store because the driver didn't want to let us know there was an issue. We called the shop to find out what was happening and were told there was a delay and they would call back with more details. 3 hours later partner had to ring again to try and get an update. We got told only the base was on the truck and that the mattress would arrive next week. We said this is not good enough what can the store do to help because of delays "oh we could do free delivery" Feeling hard done by, my partner and I decided to go into store to try and get to the bottom of the issue. We asked to talk to the manager and I asked him where my bed was. At first the manager was not sure of any delivery issues on that day. Then we got him up to speed, his reply was have you checked the app? Yes, the app dates changed and changed again and NO ONE CALLED US TO UP DATE US AND TELL US WHY. We asked if there is anything they can do instore he then looked in the computer and said they had a medium firm bed in stock we declined because we ordered a extra firm. Then I asked can you upgrade the bed or even take something off the bed because of lack of service. He said he had no power to do anything in store so he rang the area manager and the area manager offered $100 off the bed not even 10% and free delivery. In the end we got a refund as we had no guarantees the bed would arrive on the new,new,new date. Not going anywhere near any big save ever again!!

    Brought a bed - was on order which they let me know in store. Arrived a week later. Best bits were no hard sales! Helpful store staff who you can ask for help IF you need it. No hovering around you. The driver who delivered the matress was super helpful and overall a good guy! I'll be coming back just based on the above. Cheers!

    Poor Customer Service, They said my bed bases would be here in a week, still waiting three weeks later and still haven't got them. Said they would call back but never do. Big Save Westgate, please sort your customer service out. Be honest and up front if you have forgotten to process the order

    Fantastic customer service from Jay. If you are looking for furniture.. go to this store and ask for Jay. He is very professional, friendly and patient. I’m very particular about the details and Jay was fantastic at giving me plenty of options to choose from. No pressure or “pushy” strategy. He was looking all over the store for hours and never once sounded frustrated or showed getting tired of my pickiness. Jay genuinely listened to what I wanted and in the end we walked about with a full dining set, a lounge suite and accessories, coffee table and rug that we are happy with. Thank you Jay for making our experience an enjoyable one. I hope your hard work is recognised.

    Purchased a king bed and headboard from these clowns and not only did they lie about when the bed would arrive, they lied about having a headboard, told me there was a queen sized headboard in a king box and therefore had to order one which would take 2 weeks and then once the 2 weeks was up I visited the store as there was no update from Jay, the manager only to be told it wasn't coming until August. It is May! DO NOT purchase anything from these irresponsible clowns! Go to another furniture store and save yourself the stress and nonsense.
