   Wouldn't give us Tuesday5% discount Gold card! I asked for it and pointed to the notice by the till. She ignored me, then said it was too late she'd done the transaction. I pointed out I'd asked before she'd started it. She then said they weren't allowed to ask about gold cards. We are an elderly couple, both in our 80s. This is NOT GOOD enough! This used to be a quality shop with good customer service. Their small cakes are now done by 'Daily Bread', instead of by themselves. Their customer service is non existent. I came here often when I worked along the road, but I won't bother any more now.

   I bought a turkey and several items at Farro’s Mt Wellington today. At free food tastings all went well. Until I tried to taste the fruit cake. The pieces offered were the size of raisins!! I kid you not!! I asked the young lady why tasting of a cake was nothing more than crumbs rather than a small bite size. She answered “ if you don’t like it you don’t have to try it” and walked away from me with the tray! I was very shocked at her answer and her rude attitude. I never expected such bad staff behaviour in such a nice shop like yours!

   Fantastic store. Produce was of beautiful quality and the items I purchased were cheaper than the supermarket. Great selection. Well set-out store. Friendly staff. Worth the extra time on the motorway.

   Don't buy meat products here. Last weekend, I bought two lamb legs, and they were spoiled when I cooked them. This has never happened to me in any other supermarket.

   Always a pleasant shopping experience at Farro. They have a fantastic selection of food and beverage from a range of carefully picked suppliers, a lot of which can’t be found in supermarkets.    Great place. Can be a little over priced for some items... but all items are amazing! Lots of great pre-made meals. Feb 2024 update. They have completely rearranged the layout. Much better to find yummy food.

   Love the range of different craft NZ products that Farro stocks. Discovered the fantastic Hoot chilli sauce, full of flavour and punch! Brilliant to mix with mayo and add as a condiment to any food. Here’s my breakfast bowl with Hoot- yum!

   Great shopping experience with their large selection of products, most of which are things you dont find in your standard supermarket. The entrance is located at the side of the building where there are plenty of other parking spots. There is also a food truck outside in the parking lot area which was changing on the Sunday morning. I quite like the range of the easy cook items which makes dinners easy. They also have a nice deli section with cheeses, meats and other ready to eat items. It was a fairly cheap lunch with the quiches and aranchinis they had. Definitely a nice place to shop although it is a pain to get back onto Lunn Ave when traffic is busy.
