I was so excited that nearly 22 years my husband decided to go to visit his family from Russia, especially as his dad is in very critical condition. We wanted to start this process from November 2018 but due to Christmas holiday we've been told to wait until mid Januriary, which we did. 1. Firstly I cannot understand why he cannot travel to Russia with his NZ passport, THIS IS SO WRONG! 2. Took nearly 3 months to get his citizenship approved. 3. We then prepared and sent out all the required documentation and translations for the whole family. All this was finalised mid May and now we need to wait until 16 August when is the first "available" appointment so he can apply for passport, for that we've been advised another 2-3 months wait. Then myself and kids needs to apply for visa, and that appears to be a long process too. 4. Not even to mention that every time when they had to come back to us with an email or call, they never did as they advised. 5. They are having very short working hours and plus they take all the public holidays of NZ and Russia too 6. THIS IS THE MOST STRESSFULFOR EXPERIENCE WE HAD AND VERY BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE! VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!
