   I have been a regular customer at this Asian grocery store , but the recent experience was extremely disappointing. My car was scratched in their parking lot, and when I requested the staff to review the CCTV footage, they assured me they would check — yet nothing was done, even after several follow-ups. This shows a complete lack of responsibility and concern for customers. The staff were unhelpful and unfriendly. Very poor customer service.

   I bought 10kg of potatoes from Arjun Supermarket in New Lynn, and almost all of them were rotten, soft, and smelly. It was a complete waste of money. This shows very poor quality control and a lack of proper food safety standards. Selling spoiled food is unacceptable and dangerous. I strongly advise others to be cautious and avoid buying fresh produce from this place. Very disappointing experience.

   Good place for Indian grocery. The shelf arrangement and cleanliness can be improved. They do weekly sale but unfortunately the price does not reflect on the shelf and it is confusing. The shop is definitely a good option for someone who lives nearby.

   Visiting from Australia. Dropped in to do some shopping. Very unhygienic. Birds flying on the ceiling rafters. Bird droppings scattered around the store. Should be reported to the health department of the local council. ☹️☹️☹️

   We visited this supermarket recently as we were in urgent need of some groceries like eggs, tea, milk etc. They have a good selection of Indian snacks, mangoes, vegetables, naan etc. The staff are very pleasant and helpful and the store itself is quite neat and tidy. Would recommend it if you live in Avondale and / or New Lynn.

   Price scandal!!! Just check your bill, they are very smart. Everytime I go there, some items price on the bill is different than the price on the label. For example an item of $4 is marked as $5.99.

   First visit here, as it's the nearest spice shop to me thought I'd better try it out. It's certainly the largest spice supermarket in the area, parking is plentiful directly outside and easy access to the shop. The shop is quite large and took awhile to explore. Found some items I'd not yet found in over 12 years in New Zealand, excellent but no the sell by dates were well gone!! after this it was rows and rows of items I wasn't interested in. The bulk spice bins were usual and with some basic spices missing, had an entire row of Ghee which was good as it was more choice than usual. They also sell fresh made items which did look very appetizing. I will return as it's close but I do honestly believe the other place I use is better. The staff were 110% and when I explained about the out of date stock they did action it, I think.
