   I discovered Bruno probably 5 years ago, (we’re looking for a barber for my son’s first haircut) when he was working at a different barbershop in Ponsonby and we followed him over to Barba. He’s a great barber and so good with my son. Such an amazing person, so friendly and energetic :) Can’t recommend Barba and Bruno enough.

   I’ve been getting my haircut by Taise for nearly a year now, and I can honestly say, that I won’t go anywhere else. I’m very precious about who cuts my hair, and she has become my absolute go-to. I’d honestly rather wait a whole year for a cut from Taise than trust anyone else! I can’t recommend Barba enough, easily one of the best Barbershops in town. Taise looks after me every single time, and I always walk out feeling amazing. Her attention to detail and her genuine care, not just for my hair but for me and my family, always leaves me feeling better than when I walked in. To top it all off, Bruno makes exceptional coffee, and Vitto's smile and energy is seriously infectious... I look forward to every visit! The crew always welcome me into the shop with open arms, and you really do feel part of the familiar! Best barber trio in town!

   Can't recommend Barba enough! Easily one of the best barber shops in town. Taise has been looking after me for years and I feel fantastic after every cut. Her attention to detail and care has me leaving fresh and feeling great everytime. To make things better, Bruno (another excellent barber) makes EXCEPTIONAL coffee. Best way to start a morning haircut and something I look forward to everytime! Best barber duo around.

   Barba is way more than a traditional barber's shop. Having longer hair I was always reluctant to go to a barber's for a haircut, but based on a recommendation I booked in. The atmosphere is friendly, relaxed and welcoming. Time is taken to listen to your thoughts, for the expert barbers to study your face shape and hair, make suggestions and for a real exchange of ideas to take place. Two great scissor cuts later with Vito, and one recently with Bruno, I can't recommend this business highly enough. In genuinely engaging chats with these guys I have learned that generations of family craft and traditions have been passed down to these barbers. Combine this with innovation you have real quality. And it really shows. Add to this a barista quality coffee made by Bruno (another of his specialties) and you have a truly enjoyable experience! Amazing!

   When you know nothing about hair but know you want it a “certain way”, it can be quite intimidating heading somewhere new and trying to explain it. I’m very glad to say that the folks at Barbara are brilliant! The location itself is warm and inviting, but it’s the staff that are amazing. I dealt with Victor, who was really personable and communicative, and he gave me probably the best haircut I’ve ever had. Not only that, but he would talk through and explain everything he was doing and why, and make sure I was OK with it. This actually helped me to understand what to do next with my hair; how to maintain/style it, and when I should look at getting it cut again. I’ve already booked back in to have my hair cut again by Victor; it’s clear the passion he has for hair dressing, and I’m stoked with the results. Thanks team!

   The best haircut I've ever had, hands down. My barber, Victor, is passionate about cutting hair, and this is evident not only in his skill but also his attention to each client. For example, I have a slightly odd shaped head, meaning I need specific lengths on certain parts of my head. Not only did he listen when I told him this, he cut my hair in accordance with my head shape and gave me the best cut I've had. He also moved his lunch break to cut my hair even though I was a walk-in. Very appreciated! He didn't just dive straight in and do what he wanted, he took his time examining my head, my crown, hair length & direction etc. I really appreciated this. The other guys seem down to earth and cool too and I will definitely be returning. Do yourself and your hair a favor and go see these guys, you won't regret it.

   My husband has been to a few Barbers and the guys at Barba Boutique is definitely one he has continued to go back to. So we booked our 5 year old for his FIRST hair cut, which we were pretty nervous about considering how precious he was about his hair…and Bruno at Barba’s did an amazing job! Our boy loved his hair cut and has such a good first experience at the barbers. Honestly! We felt like we stressed out about the situation for nothing! And of course the other guys at Barba are amazing otherwise my husband wouldn’t be returning back. Thank you so much! Definitely highly recommend! They won’t disappoint you.
