Stephanie Joseph is a true professional and I can't say enough about the service I received from her. As a Dispensing Optician, she went out of her way to find the perfect pair of glasses for me, searching what Kapiti had on offer and bringing it to the Wellington store. Although I was not able to find the right pair for my small frame at Sangster and Matthews, Stephanie understood what I was looking for. I was able to bring a pair purchased elsewhere and Stephanie fitted them with the same care, attention and expertise, as if I had purchased them from Sangster and Matthews. Most noticeable to me was Stephanie's attention to customer service. It's one thing to provide a service, but when it is greater than the nuances of others, her exceptional attention and tailored solutions, stood out to me. Not only did she offer to do a temporary fix to my broken glasses, she fixed an annoying feature with my new pair that others said was fine as it passes for function. For these sort of positive vibes, I had to reach out and say thank you Stephanie Joseph for your 5 star service, you went above and beyond. You have left me with warm fuzzies!
Had my eye exam today by Michelle Tiang and she was very thorough and explained everything very well. She was very knowledgeable and had a nice calm manner. The receptionist was also very attentive and checked me in when I walked through. I'll be back for my yearly eye checks!
The most careful eyes exam I've ever had. The optometrist explained every step. The location is very convenient, the store is comfy, and the waiting time is zero. Perfect service!

I had an amazing experience on my first-ever vision assessment. Lady at the front desk was nice and very professional. I was looked after by the optometrist Shonag Laird who was an absolute gem. Not only she was great at her job but also a lot of fun!
All the staff at Sangster and Matthews are great; they have a good range of frames for both glasses and sunglasses. And they are very friendly and attentive. Good follow up care too.
