    I recently bought a lotto ticket and the person serving me charged twice. $40 each on 2 transaction. When I questioned it, the staff kept arguing with me and stating he charged only $40 and $16 and the pending transaction will be updated. The rudeness of this staff was totally unacceptable. He kept saying to call the bank and call them back. The number listed is not connecting.It feels unfair and dishonest to overcharge customers like this and keep arguing. I won’t be returning, and I’d recommend others double-check their receipts before leaving the store.

    Bad experience. I bought a few items and the newspaper from the rack. Yes it was on the bottom shelf. When I got home I realised the paper was 4 days old!!!. I went back the next day to ask them to swap it for the current days paper. Their response was " the bottom shelf is old newspapers, no refund no swap". I asked why they didn't point that out when I bought it and they said i should have known. When I said I wouldn't shop there anymore they said they didn't care!!! I asked other convenience stores if they sell old newspapers and they said no they sometimes give then away if someone wants one.

    Purchased a train/bus snapper card that cost $12 despite the RRP being $10. The person serving said they are charged $10 and everyone else charges $12. I subsequently ascertained this is not true as NewWorld at the train station charge the $10 RRP price only
