   Came in for a new board and got really good advice one what to pick! I've been out a few times on it since buying and all the advice was proven true! I now have a board that's perfect for my ability and will enjoy riding for as long as I can! We received great advice on the local spots too after having just arrived in Wellington! Would recommend these guys!

   This was my first ever time walking into a surf shop to rent a board and suit! I’d had a few lessons and was keen to practise on my own. I felt so nervous, but had no reason to be. The guys behind the counter were really friendly and made sure I got the right size wetsuit and recommended I take out an 8ft softtop board based on my experience when I had no idea what size I’d been learning on. I found the price of hiring the wetsuit and board for a couple of hours really great value and just wish I’d plucked up the courage sooner before I returned back to the UK!

   Had a great experience with Roger and one of his good folks. Now have a new, awesome 5/4 hooded O'Neill wetsuit for the very chilly waters off the Oregon coast. And got to know the Lyall Bay scene a bit better. The swell was good the prior day, and I'm stoked to get out some point in the future. When I do I will definitely stop by and check out Roger and the lads at Real Surf.

   I popped-in to buy a gift voucher for my daughter's birthday. She had told me these are good guys! She wasn't wrong! I had a great visit and am pleased they needed to print some new gift vouchers. It allowed me to wander around the shop and look at all the different boards - new and second hand - on display. In addition, a great selection of wetsuits and surf accessories. This is one of the early Lyall Bay makers and stockists, as can be seen by the photos on the walls... some from the sixties and seventies! On top of that, the staff are really friendly, know what they're talking about and have been really helpful to my learner daughter. I can't recommend them enough. (Maybe I should have taken up surfing instead of motorcycling....?)
