I always leave the salon with my heart full from her lovely warm, conversation and looking fresh with perfectly colored hair! Don't get me started on those head massages........ the best!    The team has enhanced our whole experience of feeling good with ourselves when making a change in our image. They make us feel at ease and safe to communicate what we think we need, they care about it all along and they also give their best advice. The environment is so safe and friendly, hair cuts are awesome and sit so well every time —natural curls and straight, women and men’s! We’ve met Jade and Jade and we are absolutely in love with them but also the rest of the team who have been there every time! Thanks ladies, the whole team is awesome in what you do and how you are ⚡️

   Always look forward to a day of hair pampering with Emily! She’s been looking after my hair since I moved to Wellington last year and I can’t see myself changing anytime soon! My hair is very thick, dark and heavy. Emily is helpful and knowledgeable in what ways to help tame it, while keeping the length I want. She’s helped me keep lots of blond in my hair to lighten it up, without going full blonde or quickly showing my roots. Can not recommend enough!

   I had my hair cut and coloured by Jade and gosh I’m such a big fan of her. My hair was a hot mess prior and she fixed it up so beautifully, I’m beyond stoked with it! AND she made the whole experience fun (she didn’t once bully me about my hair that looked Iike a cheap, neglected dollar store wig), plus I swear to god getting summery blonde highlights in winter is a cure for seasonal affective disorder…. We haven’t done the studies yet, but gosh do we need to? Banter 5/5, talented hairdressing 5/5, bullying skills 0/5 (thank goodness)

   Refuge has the best stylists, service and experience. I have never left their salon feeling anything less than amazing. They are so skilled at what they do, but are also the best people. I’ve seen Liz and Juliet predominantly and they are so so talented. Highly recommend!
