Spent over a year and half as a tenant in a Village Rentals property, and have only praise for everyone we dealt with. Our property manager Natalie was always very attentive, friendly and helpful, quickly responding to and actioning any issues we had at the property. would give a zero if I could, worst Property Management company I have dealt with as a tenant. The house we rented was not handed over to us in a good condition (literally had personal waste from previous tenants in the house, underwear, toilet bowl brush, used cakes of soap etc), one of the bathrooms were not working (shower and toilet seat) and the stove was not working (this was never fixed throughout our tenancy). I tried communicating with them via emails and phone calls but took many days to get any action (cleaning part we had to get it done ourselves to be able to live in it). We were paying full rent and using only one bathroom for more than a week. I got frustrated when they were not getting the work and posted a review on google during the tenancy, which they made me take out. The house itself was very good it just wasn't taken care of or maintained, what ever breaks down stays that way unless if it was causing damage to the house (stove, cooker hood all were faulty, there are damages on the walls all over). By the time we ended the tenancy the PM had changed and the new PM had no idea about the status the house was handed over to us in, despite having shared all images and proof from the entry inspection she tried to charge us for the damages that existed in the house before we rented it. Had to fight so hard to get our bond money back. We gave the house back in a much better condition opposed to how it was given to us but they would point at things like 'there was a hair fallen on the bathroom floor' to get us to pay for professional cleaning again, hiding the fact that the house was handed over to us in such a ridiculous condition by her colleague. We have finally gotten our full bond back and really glad that we no longer have to deal with them.
