He knew exactly what would suit my face and showed great professionalism. Not normally someone to write reviews but this is genuinely the best hairdresser I have ever been to!

I have ever had lovely experience here, but the latest one was REALLY DISAPPOINTING! Yesterday I came for a haircut and was suggested to dye the colour of purple/dark pink by William. I love the idea of purple so agreed. After finishing cut he brought the trolley with all the stuff for dyeing. However didn't show me any sample colour or the result colour on black hair(my hair is black) before starting the job. I trusted him so much that didn't ask for it either. When all finished the hairstyle looked good. But without my glasses and in a hurry to leave I didn't see the colours very clearly. After getting back home, I was disappointed to see the colour of my hair is pure RED instead of purple or dark pink. I understand there may be some colour deviation but think William could let me know beforehand the possible result might not be purple but red. Unfortunately he did NOT. Nor did he show any sample colour or the result colour to me. So I decide to give him a call. William was busy when I tried to ring him the next morning. I said the colour is not what you described and agreed to have a call later when he has time. In the afternoon I rang him again. I just started to talk about not letting me know that the actual colour could be pure red, when he interrupted me and told me to stop talking about it. He just wanted to discuss how to fix it(make another appointment to dye it again). As for me, how I can jump to the solution without my complaints being heard? How can he stop a customer talking about her/his questions? In a rude way. And there's more. He talked to me loudly via the phone, 'don't think there is any problem in our work. There is no problem in my work.' 'If you don't want to re-dye, then we have no way.' I felt as if all the problems were on myself and I had to follow what he said. Getting a bit cross at that time, I advised him the way to refund me. He was so patientless that he didn't answer but told me to go somewhere to complain VR hair and then hang up the phone. So rude after knowing I would not accept a re-dye. You can tell whether there is good customer service only when such things happened. Obviously NO customer service AT ALL there! Never never again even if he had great skills.
One of the best coloring and bleaching place in Auckland, highly recommended.Also great haircut. Owner is a very nice guy too, makes big difference.
Great Service. They even dyed my eyebrow to match my new hair colour. Never had this service before at anywhere else.And they keep a record of customers hair colour after dyeing for future reference. Thanks William!
My BFF recommended William and he did an amazing job. That was 8 years ago and William has been cutting my hair every since. He is THE best hairdresser I've came across in Auckland. Top notch skills, good taste and plus a genuine passion in what he is doing aka a perfectionist. I've recommended many of my friends to William over the years, and it's funny that after a while people forgot who made the commendation first and started to recommend him back to me ... He's also great with colours!!
