The teachers are extremely hostile and fragile, if you refuse their advice no matter how bad it is they will accuse you of being aggressive and confrontational and refuse to interact with you, they will break property and take no accountability, they will be rude and abrasive no matter how you speak to them and they act so extremely egotistical as if they are the best in the world at whatever they are talking about and if you prove them factually wrong they will freak out on you. I regret ever spending thousands of dollars here if you wanna go to an art school do not go here.

Whitecliffe is a great institution with lovely lecturers who provide heaps of support to their students and love helping them with their projects. I’ve had an amazing time, I’m currently in my second year of the design and digital media bachelor, and everything has been great. The lecturers Becky and Xi especially have provided such great support and one on one feedback with our assignments, and I speak for the whole class when I say we really appreciate how patient and kind they have been throughout the degree. I highly recommend Whitecliffe as a college, my experience has been amazing.

I am currently finishing a design certificate and I want to shout out my lecturer Xi, I was really worried about going into tertiary education as an adult. But Xi has made this entire experience so amazing. She is so patient and willing to work one on one with each individual student, even if it means staying late or taking time out of her own schedule to make sure you have any questions answered. I have enjoyed her classes so much and I will miss them so much when I finish my course

Whitecliffe College in Auckland has truly been a game-changer for me during my Master's in Data Science. The learning journey has been nothing short of amazing, with a perfect blend of theoretical and practical knowledge that prepares you for real-world challenges. The supportive staff go above and beyond to ensure you succeed, creating an environment where you feel motivated to learn and grow. This program has not only deepened my understanding of AI and Data Science but has also been a career and life-defining experience, opening doors to incredible growth and opportunities. If you're looking for an amazing learning journey that equips you with the skills and confidence to excel, Whitecliffe College is the answer! Highly recommend it to anyone ready to take their career to the next level.

Looking back at my 3 year experience (2017-2020 )at Whitecliffe has given me great insight into the lack of real-world, practical, support we got in terms of career pathways. My fine arts degree felt very outdated. I was also belittled consistently by two lecturers- I was 17 at the time.

This college is the worst college ai have ever attended. There was zero classes and when i asked about it they said its a blended course. Well, blendid in my book means half classes and half online. When i wanted to quit they said i still owed money. This place is a scam. Maybe not the entire college but stay away from the IT part of the college.

Have done a holiday gateway course at computer power plus and I was very disappointed with what we learnt. We were promised certain courses that were changed last minute. We were taught basic computer management such as cleaning and how a mouse sends its movement to a computer. And on top of all that the teacher we had was very bias and got a lot of information wrong that I corrected leading her to dislike me. Definitely do not recommend for gateway and I don't believe I would want to go back to study.

I studied a level 5 diploma here in 2014-2016. Flew through the course with no problems. Instructors were all very helpful if I was ever stuck on a module topic. Since then I've been doing paid IT contracting work with various IT companies which computer power has connected me with. About to start a level 7 diploma in network engineering part-time while I carry on working as an IT Technician part time.

I was very lucky to have a friend who studied with the institute and told to me to invest my time somewhere else. He gave me his books to look at and the material isn't even relevant to the industry anymore because its 5 years old. I was told that students have to have a finished lot of code that looks exactly like the answer in the teachers book, this isn't right. Each programmer has their own style and there was a lot of code that could have been condensed making the work smaller but still having a functioning program
