   I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the teachers. One of the most noticeable improvements I’ve seen in my son is his self esteem. I still remember the first few months after he joined the class, it took him some time to adjust. Now, I couldn’t be more grateful to see him gaining confidence and exploring his interests. This wouldn’t have been possible without the wonderful support he received at kindergarten. Yesterday was my son’s last day in kindergarten, and we felt both excited and emotional. Thank you for all your support. We will always cherish the beautiful moments from his time there. We believe he will be very excited to continue exploring and learning in primary school. Thank you again.

   We are pleased to be part of the Freemans Bay Kindergarten Whanu. My daughter had a great learning experience at she enjoyed every single day at this kindy. The teachers are very patient and helpful and takes the steps to keep the children happy at the centre. The children at this centre are also very friendly during this time. We are very thankful to all the teachers and the centre. We strongly recommend the Freemans Bay Kindergarten and Thank you so much to all of the teachers (Jane, Nilam, Yasu, Anthony, Jodi, Karen and few others). We wish you all the very best :)

   We recently celebrated our son's graduation from Freemans Bay Kindergarten, and as a new foreign family in Auckland, we feel incredibly fortunate to have chosen this school for him. From the moment he started, all the teachers at Freemans Bay Kindergarten have been exceptional. Their care and dedication have not only facilitated his learning but also ensured he felt comfortable and happy attending kindergarten every day. We've witnessed remarkable improvements in our son during his time at Freemans Bay Kindergarten. His English communication skills have noticeably flourished, and he has developed a newfound love for reading books and playing musical instruments. These positive changes proved the quality of education and nurturing environment provided by the kindergarten.    I can absolutely recommend Freemans Bay Kindergarten! The staff are amazing and were able to instill a love for learning in my child, which really made the transition to the next school so much easier. The head teacher, Karen is really a remarkable leader who allowed my child to grow independently while ensuring that she always felt able to ask for help. A lot of thought was put into each daily activity. My child developed a range of skills, I had never even attempted in my life. From woodwork, to baking, drilling to playing instruments, Karen always aims to ensure the children develop holistically.

   We were lucky enough to enrol our daughter at Freemans Bay Kindergarten a few years back. It was such a postive experience. The staff were so attentive to the kids needs.The interior and exterior spaces were creativly organised, giving lots of options for play and learning. From a parents point of view the staff, and especialy Karen, the head teacher, were very approachable and enthusiastic. Our daughter loved each day there, it was sad to have to move on to primary school. We still keep in touch, and are happy to hear its still thriving. - Jackie, Alex and Zara

   My two children both attended Freemans Bay Kindergarten from the ages of 3 through to 5. The staff there are outstanding and very professional when it comes to nurturing and guiding the children on their early learning journey. While the philosophy is based around learning through play, there is also a kind of gentle discipline and responsibility learning applied by the daily routine which included good hygiene, organising one’s own things and tidying up themselves after a hard day of play. Freemans Bay Kindergarten also encourages and somewhat embraces a collaborative approach with parents which I really appreciated. There were so many learning opportunities created by countless internal projects, outside trips and performances by various local talents that I found it easy to expand on those learning experiences at home thereby increasing the educational impact of the Kindergarten’s initiatives. For me a Kindergarten (as opposed to a Childcare Centre), is all about preparing children for School and I can say without any hesitation Freeman’s Bay Kindergarten did that for my 2 Children exceptionally well.
