My toddler attends this lovely centre for about 3 months now. My toddler is still nonverbal but this centre never made me feel guilty about it and welcome my son with open caring arms. They are very helpful and they work with the speech therapist to make sure our toddler gets the care he needs.
Our son (almost 3) has just transferred from another ELC and we have all been very impressed with what Blooming Buds offers. From the outside you’d have no idea what a great centre lies within/behind. Lots of activities to keep the toddlers happy and interested (even through the long rainy winter), good outdoor space, friendly staff who immediately knew who we all were and great food options for the kids.
We’ve had such a wonderful experience at Blooming Buds over the past few months. Our son has been in the Toddler Room for just over three months now, and we’ve seen him grow in confidence, independence, and joy. The kaiako are not only caring and supportive but also incredibly creative with the activities they plan for the tamariki. Every day is filled with fun, learning, and meaningful experiences. As parents, it gives us so much peace knowing he’s in such a nurturing environment where he’s truly thriving. Thank you for all the aroha you put into your work!
Amazing centre and staff. We have two children attending Blooming Buds and we couldn't be happier. The toddlers room recently has had a change of staff, Alice (Head teacher) is amazing, we truly appreciate the love and care she shows our son. Lisa and the Preschool team always go above and beyond for our daughter and the education she is receiving is fantastic. What a wonderful environment.
We transferred our daughter here when she was 2 and at that time we were anxious if we made the right choice. Nearly 12 months later, we can confidently say we made the right choice. The teachers are very engaging not only to the children but also to the parents, they take time to talk to me about my daughter's day, what she's been up to and what we, as parents, aspire for her so they can continue to provide support. When it was time for potty training, the teachers over in Toddler's room were nothing but supportive and we were able to transition our daughter to normal undies in about a week! Our daughter is really happy with the environment and friends she made in the centre and I fully trust that teachers are looking after my daughter and her best interest all the time. Despite the challenges of organising the activity, the teachers pushed for the recent field trip for the preschoolers which they enjoyed very much (I should know, I was there) and it provided them a different experience that as parents we want our kids to have. I'm also very appreciative of the centre's generous hosting of activities like celebrating the centre's birthday, having bouncy castles and many activities for all the kids to enjoy. Thank you!
As first time parents, it gave us comfort to know the children are genuinely cared for and kudos to the care givers who take effort in knowing each child at personal level. Parents are kept informed of their developments in Storypark and any concerns which is great for us to be aware of. Overall great place and consistent too.
We changed to this daycare in 2020 when my girl was 2yo and she immediately loved this place. She always talks about her teachers and learns so much here, she usually gets upset when it's time to leave. Recently sent my 1yo here to the babies room and he also loves it. Teachers are great, they always send lots up photos and updates showing what my kids are up to. Also very fast responses to any questions by email/txt. Would highly recommend this daycare
Reetu and her team are an awesome passionate bunch. A high performing team. This centre is possibly the best ELC in West Auckland . The team have set high standards for themselves which is visible in how they run the place, and most importantly how they care for the children. We have had a great personal experience with some exceptional people like Fatema and Lani. Thank you very much for taking care of our child. Well done, Reetu. Keep it up.
Since starting Blooming Buds our boys have been happy and settled. There is a kind, quiet and respectful culture within the centre. The environment is lovely with a decent outside area with plenty of equipment to play on. There are delicious meals provided for the children also. We have been impressed with the standard of care our boys are receiving.
