   Our Kids in Glen Eden has been my second family. I have nothing but good things to say about this place. My daughter who is now 7 had been at Our Kids Glen Eden since before she was 2years and the kaiako there loved her like they were her own. My youngest who is now 1year has just joined and settled incredibly well. The teachers are warm, loving and have a huge knowledge of educating our tamariki in the way that is needed most for our ECE sector. Most teachers are qualified and they have many years of experience. The staff turn over is very low and you always know who is spending time with your children. The mixed age setting is so beautiful and gives it a home away from home feeling. There is a large amount of understanding of te ao Maori and this is integrated into everyday practice. I couldn't recommend Our Kids Glen Eden enough!

   I can't speak more highly about the beautiful kaiako at Our Kids. Both my daughters have been here and have thrived because of it. The team are amazing and we've largely had the same kaiako over the last 5 years (with amazing additions) - which is a massive green flag. The team are passionate about kids and learning though play. There's an obvious passion for nature, messy play and good exposure to te ao Māori. The daycare has a good connection to the community surrounding it and there's is a lot of knowledge about the local environment. Stoked we found this little gem of a centre.

   Our Kids Glen Eden is an inclusive, welcoming centre, a calm and friendly environment with the most amazing teachers!! They have worked so hard to ensure my child settled easily into daycare, and always show so much care towards all children. Teachers work hard to get to know their learners and ensure that their interests and needs are met. Also has a fantastic outside environment, and a homely inside environment which feels like a home away from home. The children benefit from the small roll size and mixed ages. My child loves going there and we couldn’t be happier with our experience at Our Kids. Would give it more stars if I could!!

   My 4.5 year old has attended the Our kids on Glendale road since he was 7 months old and it is like a second home to him. The staff are friendly and caring, I love that the turnover of staff is very low so many of them have been there since he started. I also love the mixed age environment, as it gives it a real family feel. My little one loves it here so much and we couldn’t be happier with the centre.

   There aren’t enough words to express my appreciation and graditude for our OK whānau. Their beliefs of whānaungatanga, kaitiakitanga and akoranga to name just a few align with everything that I want my tamariki to be exposed too. There is never a dull moment (especially with the tamariki) but also with the kaiako because all of them are REALISTS. Every single one of these ataahua women love and nurture our babies like they are their own. The head kaiako Emma is full of knowledge and wisdom and her expertise radiates everywhere in the centre. It is more than just a daycare, ‘Our Kids’ manifest whānau kotahi.

   I have had a wonderful experience with the team at Our Kids Glen Eden. The first time I walked in the facility I felt such a welcoming, home-like feel, which I thought makes the perfect environment for my little one. The teachers have all been magnificent! They made me feel so comfortable when transitioning my daughter into their care. They are so considerate and accommodating. They keep me well informed and we have open conversations. The teachers at Our Kids Glen Eden genuinely want what is best for you and your tamariki. I am overwhelmed with joy when I see my daughter having so much fun at Our Kids as I pick her up each day. The calm, open, friendly environment at Our Kids Glen Eden makes it feel like a home away from home. Our Kids Glen Eden whānau you are a blessing!
