   Agreed on a price of $25. Was charged $125 on my card unknowingly. For a very short ride from cbd to ponsonby!! Looks like this is a common theme for this company

   Told him our hotel, agreed on a set price of $40, he agreed and processed payment. After putting address in he asked for double the price and wouldn’t take us to our hotel or refund us. Had to argue with him for 20 minutes for him to give us our money back (destination was 11 minutes away). Would never use this service again

   Cab driver actively played with the fair per km, increasing and decreasing it while we were riding (saw him do it), suddenly sky rocketed from what I expected to be a 60$ max ride at the expensive end, to an over $100. I don't ever catch cabs, so this is a lesson learnt. Don't use this taxi service.

   I catch taxis all the time . Usually charged $25 for same everyday journey. Woke up to find $80 charged to my card. Thiefs and liars. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!

   I was suspicious of the “non branded” white taxis loitering around the viaduct, as when you know the brand you have an idea of the reputation and price point. Uber was 10 mins away and it was a chilly auckland night, so I took the plunge and got into an unmarked taxi except for the taxi sign on the rouge. Bad move. $28 for the same ride from the viaduct to ponsonby that is usually $14 in a standard cab or $11 in uber. When you see non branded cabs, steer clear.

   I took a $20 taxi ride in the Mount. This guy asked if I had pay wave and I said yes. I asked how much he charged me and he said $44. I didn’t like the double in price but thought at least I got home. When the statement came through, it was actually $80. These guys are crooks.

   DO NOT USE THIS TAXI SERVICE… the driver charged me $35 odd dollars from Kingsland to Krd its around 2km and approximatley a 4 minute drive. I could have walked if it were not after midnight: These drivers are number one scammers!! Never thought Id say it, but they are worse than Didi.. and.. they prey on those who they think are drunk.. but I wasnt. I confronted the driver and asked him how he slept at night. BEWARE!! TOTAL RIP OFF!!!!!! DO NOT USE!!

   I was ripped off by a guy named Haran who drove me in his Central Taxi Ltd taxi from Quay St to home a fare which normally costs about $25 to $30- before I realised it he had swiped my credit card and the transaction was accepted - the meter said $63.40 - but it came through on my credit card account at $73.48. I am lodging a complaint with LTSA who licence the Taxi companies. These guys should be prosecuted and put out of business. Avoid Haran and his rip off company !!!!!
