   Food great. Price great. It was my birthday so we came as a family and we all very happy with the freshness, taste, variety and quality. As your birthday person eats free, it's a great place to celebrate that special occasion together. Thank you for that.Very generous and tasty, I loved everything I ate. Cudos to the chef. Huge variety of meals and desserts, seafood, beef, pork, chicken, ham, salami, seafood chowder, mussels. All great! The dining room was so tidy tables clean floors clean. Very homely feeling. It felt very grand. Bathroom clean and suitable. Front of house staff so helpful and kind. Booze not overpriced. We will be back (our first time) thanks again. Cant fault this local diner very good and fair

   First time there. No seafood chowder left. Food wasn't restocked till nout 20 minutes later. No oysters refilled so missed out. The corn soup left a yucky taste. Trifle was dry. Egg fu Yung was bland. I didn't enjoy the chicken stir fry. Went to get pudding and our water and glasses taken away.

   good range of food- cold salad to hot chinese and desserts. Very good service, very kind. Oyster is very large and fresh, they also have tabasco sauce to go with, limit 6 per adult. steam prawn is also very fresh, limit 12 per adult. Mussels has topped with capers. Cripspy pork was bery cripsy and my daughter loves noodle. Tiramisu dessert was so good for me. Kids loved ice cream station.

   While the service is indeed excellent I have to say that the food overall has a taste that you can kind of smell when you first walk through the door that permeates through the whole building and into the food as well. I'm not sure if it's Chinese Five Spice but it tastes somewhat similar to that. The two guys serving were courteous and we had our drinks almost directly after ordering. I had experienced the food at the beginning of a lunchtime service so I'll wait until a dinner service next time and give another review on the food. I do hope that I can give a more positive review as I do feel bad for having to review the food so poorly due to the excellent service we had.

   Myself and a friend had lunch here today. I was so impressed with the food, hot food and chowder was steaming hot and oh so fresh. The cold salads and deserts were amazing. The staff were very friendly and their service was top notch. The cost was very reasonable and I am looking forward to my next visit already.

   Amazing! Worth every one of the 5 stars. Food was attractive, tasty, well labelled & tasty. Incredible range of hot, cold, seafood & desert. Waiters/waitresses constantly circling discreetly to take empty plates or to take any orders. First visit & i sincerely wish we didnt live 3 hours away or i would be back frequently. Best smorgasbord i have eaten at. Tops Valentines by a mile & i used to think they were the epitome.

   Best Buffet I have ever tried, it is valuable and yummy for almost everyone. Very friendly and diligent staff, lovely atmosphere. If you travel to New Plymouth, must try this restaurant where can relax you and enjoy a big feast!
