Shop is good. Price is also good. But the behaviour of cashier lady is too bad. Just saw, misbehaved with one customer.
I recently purchased 5kg of full leg chickens from Food for Less, New Lynn. Upon getting home and cleaning them, I noticed that most of the chicken legs were broken and had a foul smell. I had to return them to the store, and while they did refund my money, it was a very unpleasant experience. Today, I also bought condensed milk from the same store, only to find out it had already expired yesterday. Very disappointing. Buyers, please check products carefully before purchasing.
Food 4 Less New Lynn is a great store for Indian and Fijian groceries. Good prices, friendly staff, and lots of variety. Sometimes very hard to find parking.
The Fijian Indian takeaway curry counter is heaven. Soooooooo delicious Authentic Fijian Indian curries..great vegetarian curries also. Well done - excellent
Possibly the worst maintained supermarket in Auckland! They USED to be affordable. No parking spaces, the outside of the store is an eyesore. They should do better. They make so much money.
The Restaurant food quality is So Bad as full of fat as I bought today and when I took out in the evening to warm up it had very thick Fat all over instead of curry. After I took out fat and ate I just couldn’t eat as felt very bad as eating fat with no flavour. I bought Lamb & Goat curry $20 each dish. Waste of money & now can’t get the bad taste out of my taste??
Poor customer service and no one cares about the customer needs and the barcode was missing on most of the items and don’t have any manager or supervisor onsite to rectify the problems on floor. The cashier was charging twice the amount for an item which was missing the price sticker and in the end left the store without that item as none knows the price and found the whole store to be a bit careless about customers and the equiries.
Empty shelves. Walking space is cluttered. Flies in meat display fridge. I would not go there for fresh meat or produce. Produce quality is low. Place is good for pre packaged goods.
I love this store, reasonably priced, very busy, staff are hard working and always willing to help if you have any queries. One less star however due to expiry dates on many of the product esp chutneys, would highly recommend you put past expired by date product in a separate 'specials' area and rotate product so fresh goes to the front, overall a must visit!
