My experience today has been absolutely tops. I came in and the guys at Ideal got right onboard with helping to find solutions for my wiring troubles. We had good laughs and the team were so willing to share their time and knowledge. Highly recommend. Will return

Good variety of electrical supply. Not the cheapest options here. Staff friendly but not always helpful.

Came to park in the car park as it's a public carpark during certain hours of the day/weekend. Weren't immediately aware of what hours it was so we parked and were looking at the sign to see if it was available for public use yet. Before I reached the sign, a lady came out of Ideal and started screaming at us from across the carpark YOU CAN'T PARK HERE over and over again. People in the street were coming to see what she was up to it was so loud and unnecessary. I tried to ask her what the times were and when did it become public parking. She just kept screaming YOU CAN'T PARK HERE another 20 times, pulling faces at us, and generally being intimidating, and then went back inside Ideal. Extremely unprofessional. I understand if you're fed up with public parkers using the space before it's allowed, but at least hold yourself together to have a normal conversation, especially considering I was trying to talk to her about the exact issue she was worried about. I saw the sign said 11.30am it was free (45 minutes from when we were there) so we went to leave and find other parking. As we were leaving she came back out for a ciggie in front of the Ideal front doors (great look btw). I told her she was very rude, I just wanted to know the times, and she could talk to us like a normal person. She did that blah blah talking motion with her hand, extremely childish. If people like that work at Ideal, what an absolute nightmare it must be. Great look for your business.
Really helpful staff. We have lights that require specific bulbs - and these kept blowing (something to do with the heat they produce). They recommended LED and we haven't blown another bulb, yet.
