Scott and the rest of the team have been super helpful sourcing some old skirting needed to be replaced in our home. After multiple emails to different companies no one was able to help but the team at MacClure's did. Kept in contact during the hunting process and made collection so easy! 10/10 recommend!
The front counter/ reception staff were amazing and very helpful although our interaction and the transition into the yard/shop floor was a complete downer. The individual was rude and snarky throughout the transaction with my elderly father, an experienced carpenter/boat builder (a man who knows his timber at the back of his hands). It was upsetting to hear remarks such as “you know we’re finishing at 12pm right?”, just plain snarky and rude rolling his eyes etc. We were out of there well before 11.40am and returned the trailer around 11.55am. Now my biggest issue was the health and safety aspect of this transaction as the same shop floor personnel decided to loudly throw the timber into the trailer without any prior notice or warning, it was loud enough to be heard outside of the shed that they were in. My father at the time was less than a meter away from the trailer and got the shock of his life (he is a stroke survivor and lives with high blood pressure and ongoing ear issues on a daily). It was so unfair to witness the entire thing happen in front of my eye in such an ill manner and when my father brought up the matter with individual (that it was too loud and how shocked he was as a result) they replied back with another snarky comment and continued throwing the timber into the trailer. I hope that my father doesn’t have any lingering or residual issues with his ears as he is still complaining of an ongoing earache since this incident occurred. I hope that he has not sustained a perforated eardrum or residual injury as a result. We would have taken our own supply of earmuffs had we known how loud the transaction would’ve been. I personally am still experiencing some residual ringing in my ears from this incident myself. Unfortunately, this has contributed to a great level of dissatisfaction for us as customers, given we had intended on making future purchases from this company.
These guys are awesome! I drive past 3 other timber merchants to get here, but its well worth it. Their prices are very competitive and the service is exceptional. They help you select the lengths that you want, and will even cut to length if necessary. I've been buying timber and associated products from MacClure's for over 30 years and they are still the best. Keep up the good work guys, your doing an awesome job. See you next time.

I love these guys. They nearly always have exactly what I want and they never make me feel stupid about usually having no idea what it actually is. To be fair they also usually have no idea what it is. Cos I'm not a builder and nor are they. Isn't it so important to not make people feel stupid. Thanks ITM boys! See you next time I need some more of that wood stuff.
