   I just wanted to say a sincere thank you to the Dental team at Browns Rd who looked after my daughter (I think we met Rose, Kalpana, Shauny and Saleshni?) Each and everyone of you that we met had such a caring attitude and great expertise. The advice was super helpful and it was impressive to watch you cleverly and gently wrangle my reluctant daughter into getting her teeth sorted. Thanks again :)

   The school public dental system and their staff often get a hard time and bad wrap , however our family has had great experiences with the Manurewa Intermediate dental clinic . The wait times are acceptable and surgeries are very clean and tidy the staff ( the reception ,assistant and the therapist ) have always been friendly , professional and supportive and our children have always felt comfortable and at ease. Our most recent visit ( July 2021) was excellent considering our daughter had to have a tooth extracted and had to have local anesthetic and she is terrified of needles but she felt safe and comfortable at the clinic. They seem to move the staff around clinics but that day The therapist we had I think her name is Naketa and assistant Lyn were wonderful. We are thankful for this free service and the great staff . We cannot fault the treatment our children have received over the years .

   I was very unpleased with dentist for the way the my son got treated last Friday, at otahuhu primary dental. I wish to make a complain, but finding hard where I can do that. My son was also not pleased with that as well. We felt rushed and not important and got a remarked made to my son, stating if he won't keep pushing his loose tooth with his tongue, that means he has to come for his every teeth. Hello, I mean thats why you are there for, if children won't come, then who will? And if they won't come, then whats the point of them been there....

   A patronising and inefficient service for free. You will end up having to send your child to an expensive orthodontist later on because they cannot deal with many average preventative cases early on. They should really be called an emergency only service. If your child ends up having one filling they treat you like a criminal parent..... make sure you list out your child’s diet and take in the toothpaste they use ... they won’t believe you. If you child leaves traumatised by the inexperienced employee unable to discern discomfort they are causing during a simple exam, don’t make an official complaint as you will be treated like a criminal. They take no responsibility and should refer to better practices at their expense.

   Would have rated lower.... Not a single dentist open for kids in the 10 different numbers called. Closed 23rd to 05th jan. No emergency option no service at all!!!! This includes Greenlane hospital, their solution is to call healthline.
