   I’ve made multiple fragrance purchases from World in Auckland and always had excellent customer experiences there. This branch was the antithesis of that. Cold, unwelcoming and unpleasant interaction with the sales assistant. She gives the impression she can’t wait for you to leave. I can guarantee this employee is costing you sales. Such a shame.

   I’ve bought perfumes from this store before and had good experiences with the other staff, but the manager’s attitude is consistently rude and unwelcoming. On my last visit, I was told I shouldn’t be sampling unless I planned to buy and was then asked to leave. Trying perfumes is part of the normal buying process, so being treated this way as a paying customer was unacceptable. I won’t purchase from this store again until management changes.

   What a great discovery, World. As the days pass since my first acknowledgement of its being, I begin to wonder how my time on this great planet was possible without the realisation of its divine existence. The ground under my feet to which I was so nonchalantly oblivious. Stefan and Millie have shown me the truth the light and the way. Before I was lost and now I am found. There is a World, and through the clutches of its most fascinating of fabrics and flawless of fragrances, I am now cognisant. For on this world, and through this World, I am finally wearing world.

   We're visiting Wellington from London, and popped in as the window display made it look interesting. I was rather disappointed because their stock was actually pretty dull but, worse than that, the shop assistant (owner?) proceeded to watch us like a hawk for the entire time we were in the store, and made my partner and I feel very uncomfortable. We were slightly scruffy-looking, having driven 350km that day, and she had clearly decided that we were not desirable customers. I was pretty shocked by her attitude towards us; anyone with half a brain knows you can't make assumptions based on someone's appearance, but it obviously hasn't dawned on this woman yet. If you are excited by overpriced, unexceptional products, and enjoy being judged by shop staff, this is the place for you. Otherwise, I would recommend you visit one of the many interesting and stylish boutiques in Wellington.
