    Really enjoyed shopping at Farmers New Lynn this Christmas. The toy selection was great and made it super easy to get everything on my list in one go. The customer service was awesome too — a lovely sales lady helped me find all the toys I needed and made me feel genuinely valued as a customer. Big kudos to the team for such a positive shopping experience!

    Here's my local shop. If I need anything for my kid, farmers always my first choice. Most of staff here are so nice. They knew me since I was pregnant and my kid is 3yrs old now. What's upset me is one of staffs called "Giji" the Asian lady (apologize if i spelled the name wrong), it happened couple of times, my daughter was playing nicely with toys and she just took away from her and told her don't play it. My daughter was scared and confused as she's only 3. Today we went to the toy section and my daughter was play the toy while I was at the counter paying the bill. She took her toy away again, and my partner asked her why she not let kid play coz if they not try to play how they know they like it. I spent quite reasonable amount in farmers every months. And most of toys companies put "try me" on the toys the purpose of letting kids try to play before buying them. But that Asian lady apparently thought all the kids would damage the toys after they touched them. She's like a toy police there not let any kid have a good time.

    Disappointing. I brought a BLUNT umbrella for $129 and lost the receipt. I rang and requested it so I could register it for the 2 years warranty with BLUNT directly, it took half an hour for Farmers to call me back, then the staff member said that I would have to come into the store to pick up the receipt because they couldnt email it! They have my email address on their file and send me emails all the time! Just seems really backwards and not up with the play or interested in customer service and looking after their customers. Ever heard of a screen shot of the receipt, save and send. Wake up Farmers!

    Worst farmers! No wonder they are always empty. Staff too busy talking to work colleagues and have no time to actually serve customers. Had to approach 3 different team members for help, all got frustrated when asked.. absolutely disappointed, not coming back

    I wish I could leave no stars. We needed a new washing machine. We identified a suitable model. Farmers Lynnmall website said they had one in stock. They didn't, it was only for display. They said we would have to wait 7 days for delivery, and asked us what time on Monday we would like it delivered. They said that was normal. We were not happy but it was late in the day. Seven days later, no sign of the goods. Nothing, no phone calls as promised either. I then spend over 90 minutes on the phone line waiting between calls to Fisher & Paykel and Farmers. I was told by the nice lady at Fisher & Paykel that 7 days was a long wait for delivery. Day 8, still no delivery, nor any communication as to when it would be arriving. More calls to Famers. They would not let me speak to the manager. Finally I am told it will be delivered tomorrow, 9 days to deliver from across Auckland!!! I phoned another major retailer, asking about the same machine. I was told delivery would be the next day. I told the friendly staff at Farmers they would be getting a bad Google review. They didn't seem to care at all. My honest advice is if you need anything electrical delivered, try somewhere else.

    Me + my friend were in this store today around 2:15pm 25/03. We were there for less than 10minutes before being followed around the store. From the candle, perfume, to the makeup area. He obviously thought we were stealing. Man with the bald head, I'll remember you next time.Thanks for making us feel like criminals for smelling candles. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS STORE IF YOUR A POC.

    I find this farmers very user friendly. It's not huge like some of the other stores and you can find things yourself without asking. Great toy section with a really good selection. Staff friendly and the store itself is neat and tidy with no products strewn about like you find at some K Mart stores. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area.
