   Recently got a piece done by Rosa @ Tamarillo Tattoo and the experience was amazing. Rosa was so wonderful to chat to, to the point where I almost entirely forgot I was actively being poked by a needle! She’s a real, genuine talent and such a light to be around. Her designs are awesome and she’s got a steady, gentle hand. The space is wonderful, great vibes and really fun. You instantly feel relaxed and looked after being inside and they’re wonderfully knowledgeable people. I’ve also been tattooed by another artist at this studio, Rose H, who is another exceptional talent. I can definitely vouch for this studio just being a 10/10 experience from start to finish. Couldn’t recommend it more - 6 stars.

   I walked into Buttercat Tattoo on a whim for a quick flash piece and was blown away by how welcoming the whole team was. Tim looked after me and made the whole experience so easy and enjoyable — friendly, efficient, and seriously talented. The studio has such a good vibe and aesthetic. I’ll definitely be coming back to Buttercat Tattoo next time I’m in Wellington — couldn’t recommend them more!

   Such a cool place to get a tat, vibes were immaculate. Tim was fantastic. Great banter from him & such a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. Their new studio on Manners St looks incredible, and I am very happy with my tattoo. Tim did a phenomenal job, and was extremely professional and accommodating throughout. Would definitely recommend, and will definitely be back. Thanks again team :-]

   Had been wanting to get a spine tattoo for the longest time but had been hesitant on what I wanted or who to go to - I initially followed Gabby (my chosen artist) on Instagram & went from there on a design - which was such a stress free easy process. Buttercat has been on my list to visit & after being welcomed by the wonderful calming atmosphere I’m definitely more inclined to come back & get work from the other artists there also. So stoked with my new tattoo - Gabby did a wonderful job and I highly recommend their work !

   This is possibly the best tattoo experience i’ve ever had. Tim tattooed one of his flash pieces on my arm and whilst it is still healing, it looks absolutely amazing. The shop itself is incredibly inviting and beautiful. Tim walked through each step of the tattoo process, From explaining each step before the tattoo started to opening the needle in front of me, most of all ensuring comfort. I honestly could not recommend buttercat and Tim enough.

   Have got numerous tattoos from Tim at Buttercat - always pleased with the results and feel welcomed by the friendly atmosphere. All the artists tattooing there have very different styles, but all incredible work - something for everyone. Would recommend to anyone.
