My experience at this store was bad. The staff kept chatting and barely helped. I asked if they had a style I wanted—they just said "no" and went back to talking. But I looked around myself and found it easily! Their service was lazy and unhelpful, which ruined my shopping mood.
Tracey, Taylor (I think, Tuesday team) and the team at this branch are absolutely fantastic. They always treat me with such kindness and are always so happy in all of the interactions I've seen and received. I am a very indecisive shopper and they have never been frustrated at me looking at the same thing many times before making decisions. Thank you to both Tracey. Taylor and the team at this store for your kindness and wonderful customer service.

Peter Alexander is a fantastic place to get pajamas and lounge wear. I often shop online, but shopping in store is great, especially when the customer service crew are as helpful and knowledgeable as they are at Lambton Quay!
Always love their cute collections, particularly for bedtimes. Peter Alexander shop at Lambton Quay is not too big but it has quite a variety of choices of PJ sets, gowns, t-shirts, slippers, boots, undies, and more. They also have some fragrant candles. I love the fact that it offers discounts at certain times, with the big ones at the end of summer and the end of winter. Staff are always friendly and helpful
Awesome experience here! We visited Thursday 2/02/23 when there for Ed Sheeran... around 12.30pm. The lovely young lady who served my pregnant daughter who bought pajamas and talked to us about where we came from..Christchurch..and we told her it would be 31 when we got home...and she told us about what to expect at Sky Stadium and what it was like in the winter etc...she is amazing! What an awesome young woman and an amazing asset to have at your store
had a very good experience, Fiona was so lovely and helpful, went above and beyond to help me find the perfect items and right sizing, i struggle with social anxiety and found the staff to all be so friendly and calming left the store with a big smile highly recommend :)
If you're looking for plus sizes don't bother shopping in store. Peter Alexander stores don't stock their larger sizes in store, only online. I emailed to ask and they confirmed that they didn't have room in store for larger styles. Pretty disappointing. Online only does not serve the plus sized community at all.
