biggest selection of clothes of all the op shops in Newtown. good assortment of kitchen things, books, and linen as well.
So normally when I donate clothes or household items I donate them to Newtown Salvation Army store, but I happen to be walking pass Opportunity for Animals and being a Vegan and caring for animals . I thought to myself I would donate some two new tops that were to big for me and two old hoodies, Anyways I wasn’t sure where to put them so went up to front counter ask the young person if could just pass them to her, she just gave that look like I was bothering her and there was no polite greeting from her, Just rudeness.
This store has a fantastic selection of items to choose from. The prices are quite reasonable, especially considering the quality. I had a wonderful experience with the friendly and helpful staff. They were very engaging and made shopping enjoyable, the music was AWESOME. The variety in the stock was great. I highly recommend checking out this store if you're looking for something special. It's definitely worth a visit.
Great selection and low prices compared to other thrift shops. Very popular sometimes so have to wait to use the changing rooms. I’ve bought 2 dresses, a long skirt and a pair of black knee high boots here for such good prices (none were over $10). Definitely my favourite op shop:)
Opportunity for Animals is my favourite op shop. Friendly staff, a great selection of clothes, books etc, all at affordable prices. I have to stop myself visiting too often because I’m a bit addicted. Love that the proceeds go to the animals as well.

Well organised, op shop prices, a great range of designer badges, books, clothes and everything else op shop. Oddly few electronics.. but this is understandable if donated electronics have to be checked for saftey.. this can be expensive to do. This is one of my goto shops if I'm in the area.
Great little shop, have donated clothes, bedding etc as leaving NZ permanently. Friendly and chatty staff, may be volunteers, provides a real service to the people of Newtown.
Friendly staff, great prices, great cause, cool pins and stickers and stuff, love the vibe. Only minor thing is sometimes the staples from the clothing tags leave a blemish. Will be back for sure.
