My fave opshop in Welly. Small selection of clothes but the quality is so good and prices are reasonable. Friendly staff too!
Were extremely rude and awful this afternoon. Refused service because they were 'closed' despite it being 10 mins before close, and me having just left the store to take a phone call, before returning to buy the item I had been trying on.
Well run - inexpensive second hand gear.
I was looking at a ring, which was tagged with 925 Sterling silver, when I inspected the ring, imprinted was 125, I queried the woman at the counter, and she told me it was the same as 925, and seemed shook that I asked her, she convinced me it was the same, and I bought it. On further research 125 is not the same as 925, infact it's only 12.5% silver apposed to 92.5%.. Feel kind of scammed, but atleast now I know silver imprints....
I live local to the area and pop in often, they have a slow turnover of their stock compared to other op shops in the area like opportunity for animals. I’m guessing due to their pricing which is honestly really steep for second hand goods that aren’t in the best condition. Would recommend giving this one a miss.
The salvation army family store in miramar, What a great store you have such a great asset to the area, there is a fantastic range of stock at a reasonable price and there are always new things coming in all the the time, the staff are always helpful. Thankyou for be a great place to visit.
Really rude staff member in the shop today. I used to love this place so tried to pop in in between flights. Waited a while for it to open at 10am, then was told I needed to wait while they set up the shop. I asked if I could look around while they set up, and the staff member said yes. Then she approached me and said she meant I could look through the window. Had to then leave without visiting so I didn't miss my flight. Really sad to have missed out and this lady ruined my morning.
