   One of the worst experiences we’ve had with a veterinary clinic. We were charged for an appointment we never arranged, which is unacceptable on its own. When this was questioned, we were sent a long, hostile email full of inaccuracies instead of a clear explanation or an apology. The phone interactions were awful, rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. At no point did anyone attempt to resolve the issue respectfully or take responsibility. What makes this even more unacceptable is that no one ever followed up to check on our puppy. There was zero concern shown for the animal involved. The entire experience made it painfully clear that billing mattered more than animal care. We were left stressed, frustrated, and feeling completely let down. I would not recommend Vetcare Masterton to anyone looking for compassionate care for their animals.

   In my opinion, this clinic is far more interested in money than actually helping your pet. The whole visit felt like we were being pushed into paying for extras we didn’t need. Instead of honest guidance, they seemed to persuade you to pay more at every step, without properly explaining why or discussing costs upfront.

   We brought our cat Arthur to Heidi and the team after discovering a wound on his belly and observing that he was unwell and in pain. An X-ray revealed that he had been shot, with bullet fragments scattered throughout his abdomen. He underwent immediate surgery, which was successful, and after spending four nights and five days at the vet, we were able to bring him home. We are incredibly grateful to have our boy back with us. Thank you so so much.

   Just make sure you insist they call you before commencing treatment that might substantially increase the bill over and above their estimate. Our $500 operation turned into a near $2000 one today! My wife felt sick when she heard the amount she needed to pay when she picked our dog up.

   Heidi, Pip, Momo and the team provided the best results. Above and beyond! Selah dog was given a second chance after being on deaths door with severe White Tale spider bites (they are nasty...). It feels like my family has just extended. You guys are legends. 10/10
