   While I like to shop here as believe in recycling clothes rather than buying new, I’ve unfortunately had one too many negative experiences selling clothes here. The first time they mismatched my drop off with someone else’s. It look months to get a hold of someone and come to a resolution in which they compensated me $100 even though on of my sweaters was worth much more. On another occasion and item got stolen which I had to follow up on. I’m switching to Tattys only now

   I usually refrain from one star reviews as I know how much it can impact a business, but I just had to warn possible customers from the incredibly rude attitude the staff here had on the day I went. I love recycle boutique and frequently visit their branches all over Auckland. However, it’s disappointing that I had such a nasty experience recently. As soon as I come through the door, no friendly smile, wave, nothing from the staff. I assumed that they must be busy. After walking around, I start looking through a rack near the register, to which one of the girls rudely and passive aggressively said under her breath: “uhhh, what are you doing here..? You’re not supposed to be back here….!” While not even looking at me. She then proceeded to physically usher me away from the rack impatiently. “You can feel free to shop on these racks if you’d like.” Another eye roll and forced smile. It was my first time visiting the shop, and I had no idea where I was allowed to shop and where I wasn’t. There was no indication on the rack that it wasn’t available to shop, or at the very least look through. From my experience at RB at other locations, I would have expected at least a friendly, direct reminder and explanation as to why I wasn’t allowed to shop on a certain rack. The worst part about this experience was that both girls had the same nasty attitude that day. Although I have given them the benefit of the doubt of simply having a bad day, this experience has deterred me from ever entering the shop when I spot those two employees. I know the manager cares about their customers and the way they are treated, so I could provide more detail about the experience and a description of the employees privately as to protect their identities online. I really hope for the success of RB at Takapuna and I hope my review will help people understand my experience there and maybe even contribute to better mannered staff in the future.    Vistited this week, the store is clean and bright with variety of clothing. However I had the most unpleasant shopping experience here.There is too much clothes on the rack! absolutley horrible. The clothes were just so close to each other you can barely look at them, they had way to many clothes out not thinking that customers have sore arms from trying to find something decent, having to work so bloody hard to just look through the rack. This is not just me the lady shopping on the same day agreed and we both left with nothing. Please stop accepting clothes if you barely have any space for them. Wouldnt visit again. The old store lay out was much better and it had appropiate amount of clothes on the rack not excessive amounts to the point where your custormers are doing arm work outs. Such a shame.

   Incredibly rude staff. I am a takapuna local and frequent hurstmere road everyday and every time I have been into this store the staff look you up and down and then completely ignore your presence. Each time I leave without buying or trying things on because the staff are so unfriendly and act like asking for help is a huge waste of their time. Which is upsetting as it doesn’t fit the wonderful community around it. I no longer go here and I see I am not the first person to think this.

   Very rude, snobby and unpleasant employees. Took 4 bins of designer clothes in, the lady took one look and said it had a smell which they don’t, one item was a fast fashion brand where majority are not/high-end, and didn’t bring herself to go through them. Total laziness! The other guy working there had a disrespectful attitude as well ~ such a horrible experience!
