Inkstitution, what to say? Simply my go to tattoo shop, the atmosphere in there with the range of artists inside. I have been seeing James since 2018 and I'm always happy with the results that come with our sessions, we'll worth your money for sure.
The place to go if you want to be treated like rubbish. Incredibly rude, unfriendly staff, and horrible atmosphere. We walked in to discuss flash tattoos and was told there was no one available to help, and that "as we could see", everyone was busy tattooing. I'm a collector, have more tattoos than I can count, and have never encountered such disinterest or rudeness in walking into a shop. I had my sister with me, who is considering her first tattoo, and the vibe was totally off-putting. Last year when I visited Auckland, I went to Shipshape tattoo, and they were awesome - I recommend them instead.
I would highly recommend visiting Inkstitution Tattoo in Browns Bay. I had James as my artist. It is by far the best tattoo I have ever had. His work is amazing. He is so knowledgeable, understanding, and patient when explaining /answering any questions you have. He makes you feel relaxed, and confident with your decisions. I had a cover up done, of a tattoo which I thought I would have to live with for the rest of my life. He has completely transformed it, and while this may seem trivial to some, but if you have ever had a bad tattoo, you will understand. I can now confidently wear what I want, and I feel so grateful to him for doing that for me. Inkstitution Tattoo is also the best studio I've ever visited. The atmosphere is calm and airy. The range of music that plays is fantastic. The studio is spotless, and the hygiene practices are exemplary. All the Artists are welcoming, and have great positive attitudes. It made me feel like whichever Artist you chose, you would have a great experience. The chats between us all were fun, and it passed the time quickly. I will recommend Inkstitution Tattoo to everyone I know, and all that's left to say is - THANK YOU!
James and the Team here are absolutely amazing. They have done a number of my tattoos now and I honestly would never go anywhere else. Talented artists, so welcoming, they listen to you and over all have such a fun atmosphere. I always look forward to coming into studio James Recently did a cover up for me on a old tattoo I hated and its almost it was never there, his talent is second to none. Thank you team, Can't wait for the next ones!
Beautiful atmosphere, friendly staff, clean, comfortable. I've never been in such a calming and happy tattoo shop. My tattoo turned out so beautifully and healed so well and SO FAST. I'm still in awe over the incredible work done.
Got my new tattoo done here, and I'm very impressed. Brad did a great job! I love it. There were lots of banter! Everyone was very kind, I had a great time there! Definitely will come back again!
