Went to Tattoo heart while it was in K Road got two tattoos from Adam and going back to get my last two tattoos from Adam my first two from Adam were amazing work high expectations for my last 2. Adam has done large works for me with his ideas as well as mine working together. I'll miss chatting to Cat and wish her all the best.
Stopped in to get a tattoo before flying the States. Debbie was super easy to work with and gave me some great feedback regarding size and placement. She made the experience very easy and I’d highly recommend her and the studio!
If you're considering getting a tattoo, I'd suggest going somewhere else because the service here leaves a lot to be desired. I recently took my mom for her first tattoo, and we spent about an hour carefully choosing a design that would be meaningful to her. We’d even booked an appointment the day before, informing them we were coming in for a tattoo. It wasn’t as if the place was overly busy or filled with people waiting. Lance, one of the tattoo artists, was particularly rude. He kept pressuring us to decide quickly, eventually telling us to leave and come back the next day when we knew exactly what we wanted. Despite that, we managed to finalize the design and get the tattoo that day. But when we got home, we noticed it wasn’t quite right—it lacked a neat finish, and even the simple heart design was poorly done. It clearly needed a minor adjustment. The next day, we returned for a quick fix, which would only take a minute. Lance seemed irritated by our return and even swore, saying we were wasting his time and could “get out” if we didn’t like it. Nowadays, customer service is essential for any business, but it seems some people don't get that. If you want to grow your business, working on attitude and customer service is key. Thankfully, Liesje stepped in and made sure we were taken care of, but the experience with Lance was a major disappointment.
I had a tattoo with Aaron today and I highly recommend this place. The whole team were fantastic, warm and inviting from the minute I walked in the door. Aaron made me feel comfortable as I was a bit nervous given the reason behind my tattoo. I cannot recommend Aaron and the other staff enough, thank you so much for the incredible service, I could not be happier with the result!
I’ve never left a review but my experience getting my first piercing from Jess was so amazing that I had to. I was really nervous about getting my ears pierced but Jess walked me through the whole process, was really patient and hyped me up before and after the piercing which made me even more excited. They were just lobe piercings but she was really detailed and in my opinion they came out perfect. She even went the extra mile and asked if I would like future lobe piercings and told me that if I did, she would go further down to leave space, which was something I didn’t even consider. Everything was super sanitary and the whole atmosphere was really welcoming. I never felt rushed and I enjoyed the entire process The receptionist Cat was also super nice and walked me through all the aftercare while I was waiting for my booking. She also hyped me up along with Jess which felt really reassuring and overall she just had an amazing and bubbly personality. I made a phone booking earlier on in the day and she sounded really nice over the phone as well, and she was able to put me in later in the afternoon. I don’t even feel my piercings anymore and they don’t hurt at all even when I touch them. I’ve already recommended them to all my friends I’ve seen since yesterday so definitely go to the tattooed heart if you’re thinking of getting a piercing! Can’t wait to get more future piercings here.
Have had multiple tattoos done here by Liesje and can’t seem to get enough. Very friendly and professional studio that always gets the job done great. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone coming for their first time.
Resident piercer Jess is brilliant. Today was my fourth piercing(s—double vertical eyebrows) with her and she’s the only one in Auckland I trust to pierce me. She knows how to work with your anatomy and will never pierce something that won’t work for you. She is a total perfectionist and won’t let you leave the studio with something she isn’t completely happy with. Aftercare follow-up is excellent, I’ve never had any issues with my healing process. Receptionist Cat is awesome to chat with while you wait, she’s given me some great feedback on my piercings ideas too! :) Note: Photo is of my lip piercings by Jess (philtrum, vertical labret and one snakebite by her) and I will add photos of paired eyebrows when healed!
Very friendly and ambitious team. The woman at the reception was eagerly helping me trying to find a good motive for the tattoo since I only had an vague idea. The artist (I'm saying artist because what he does is beautiful art) was friendly and came up with his own idea's for the tattoo. He was gentle and very professional. If you are a fan of older rock music, you gonna love it because that's what he likes to hear while doing his work. Very good place and I'm more then satisfied with this beautiful tattoo, thank you!
