   We had to have our cat euthanized after hours and despite sending our email multiple times, never received the original invoice—only a statement with a late fee. We paid promptly and explained the situation but got no response, just more fee notices. We weren’t going to mention it, but since they insisted over a $5 charge, we were charged fees for services we weren’t told about. The procedure was done in our car, yet we were still charged a full after-hours fee. Overall, the experience felt cold and lacking in compassion.
