Aurora and her team were amazing. They seem incredibly sensitive to both their patients and their patients caregivers, and my cat (who can be a bit scared around new people seemed to love them). I saw them at 10am and was amazed to receive a follow-up call at 11pm, after Aurora had finished what I imagine was a very long and exhausting shift, to confirm the results of my cats blood tests and ongoing treatment.

Thanks to all the staff for looking after our Bertie - they were really reassuring and friendly during a rather stressful time for us and our kitty. Their communication with us was great while he was staying overnight with them, and they messaged to follow up on him after he was discharged too. We left with lots of information about what to expect post-discharge too. Thanks again to Dr Jamie and the team of wonderful vet nurses here!

I took my cat Harry in with a ureter blockage in the evening and couldn’t be happier with the care we received. We were met immediately on arrival, and Jack the vet did a fantastic job of quickly assessing Harry, and carefully explaining in detail what our options were. I appreciated how he listened to our concerns. A few hours later we picked him up and he had clearly been looked after well. He was unblocked and fully recovered in 24 hours. Amazing!

A few months ago I lost my cat Grey, and have been meaning to write a review about the amazing and touching level of care both Grey and I received from the staff here. Grey was in the safest hands and most living hands while he was there and it honestly meant the world to me. I have never been to a vet with the same level of empathy and devotion before. From the receptionists, vet nurses, volunteers and veterinarians, all were empathetic, kind, respectful and caring. Losing Grey was very hard but the team made little keepsakes that mean the world to me. I received a personal letter from the staff that comforted me in more ways than I expected. That letter lives next to Grey's little ash box. Thank you for your kind and loving words North shore staff, I appreciate everything you did for me and my family and that level of care is something we will never forget. ❤️

Thank you so much for being there during the night to look after our dog Obi. Your care and kindness was exemplary and the staff were fabulous. An added bonus - our dog got to use the Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy on site to speed up her healing. Our very sick dog was so carefully cared for by you all - everything Obi did was noted for our vet during the day. I wouldn't hesitate to bring my dog into your clinic. Thanks Reece and team. We felt like your advice and information about Obi's case was spot on.

I recently had my mini Schnauzer, Maisy, cared for by this clinic. They were all so kind to her and I was updated regularly throughout her stay there. The vet I had the most contact with, Jaimie, was outstanding in the level of care she gave Maisy. Can’t recommend everyone at North Shore Emergency & Critical Care highly enough!

Amazing team... a big thank you to Sarah, the person I first spoke to on the phone, then Lynda who was also so kind and patient to hear me through when my pet fell sick during the Easter weekend. Decided to take Ellie to them and there I met the very caring Doctors, Sean, Rhys, and a regular morning update from Jamie. My girl is back to normal now. Thank you for all your dedication and hard work.

Very sadly my two small animals were struck with sudden illness, so I had to bring them to this clinic to be seen. The vets were extremely respectful, whilst still being honest and upfront about everything that was going on. Due to their conditions, the animals had to be put down, and the team were very kind and respectful during the entire process. The service was reasonably priced for an after-hours emergency clinic, and I would have paid much more given the great service I received. Many thanks to the team.

Thank you to the team for being so patient and caring, both of our puppies had gotten into something that had washed into the back yard after the floods and in the space of a week had severe allergic reactions. The receptionist and the vet were both awesome, calm and caring and really took their time to make sure we were all ok and dogs were comfortable. Awesome service.

Have unfortunately needed to use their services twice in the last 12 months because my cat likes to time things for long weekends! Each time everyone was so lovely and the vet thoroughly explained things to me. First time was for a fever of unknown cause which required an over night stay, they called to update me every few hours and took good care of him. The second time was within 12hrs of having a bite wound on his leg to the point where his leg was a literally trunk and he wouldn't put it on the ground, they saw him within 3hrs of me calling, gave him an antibiotic injection and pain killer injection and I kid you not he was back to being an annoying pest within 2 hours. The only downside is you need to pay then and there but we put it on the credit card and wait for our insurance to reimburse us so it's not too big of a deal.
