Absolutely appreciated all the staff who maintains the school and teachers who keeps trying their best to support the students no matter their attitude. Teachers and staffs are friendly but the students, some can be rude but there’s also nice people. I adore so much the English department wherein teachers can be friendly but also strict to students who needs their support in studies. Social studies department also has teachers who are very determined and always on track. Mathematics department who makes maths understandable enough. Lastly, science department who has teachers that are very competitive towards one another and even to studentsβ€”it is coherent enough to know why most of them are like that because of the studies that are hard to grasp on. There’s also art, film, and studies associated to cultures like Māori, Samoan, and Tongan. Though this school can give an unpleasant experiences, the staffs and teachers are highly dedicated and are incredibly supportive professionals. The school fosters a supportive and engaging learning environment.

You may've seen my old review having 5 stars and that might've been an accurate response for year 9 me but year 11 me thinks this school isn't exactly 5 star material. For starts some teachers seem to think that being a teacher of a completely separate class, they have the authority to boss kids from another class, one example is one time in my maths class. I had finished all my work and so had my friends so we asked our teacher if we could go in the empty room next to us so we can play uno flip, that way we wouldn't distract others in the class trying to finish their work. Our teacher seeing how this benefited everyone in the class granted us access to the empty room. She just had to leave to get the key for the room. Then a teacher from another class began to say that we aren't allowed in there (for the record the empty class wasn't even his) it took us 14~ish minutes to persuade him to stop yelling at us, even when our teacher had come back with the key. Now this has only happened to me once, hence the 4 stars and not the 3 stars. Now a positive is that many teachers in this school are ok with letting people bring "toys" to school so long as they don't interrupt the class like myself bringing hotwheels to class, as long as i know when to focus on my work, when to focus on the teacher then my teachers are ok with it. The events that often happen throughout the year are also quite fun, things like mufti days/weeks, sports days, themed mufti days, shared lunches and the occasional movie day. 50% of teachers are friendly and very helpful, 10% can be either or, as their attitudes depend on the behaviour of the majority of students in the class. Another 10% of the teachers act a bit weird as they tend to watch students during breaks in their classrooms and i've even heard rumours of a teacher trying to look up a students skirt now, i don't 100% know if this is true or just something to scare juniors but it's rather disturbing. The last 30% of teachers are quite strict some stricter than others one teacher who isn't at this school now would often make students put their bags in front of the room and expect students to already have their stationary ready but often what happens is that people would go back and forth from their seats to their bags for the duration of the spell. One person who, thankfully, wasn't a substitute was beyond reasonable when it came to being strict, for instance, one time i was trying to help my friend with his coding in our digitech class but the teacher kept telling me to stop saying "help isn't allowed" even though our actual teacher had explicitly said "students are welcome to help out each other". I kept trying to explain to him that our teacher was ok with us helping each other but it was all in vain for he still was determined that my teacher simply "didn't know how to teach" a quote from said substitute and it wasn't in digitech where i met him, i also met him in my junior maths class where everybody there , my own teacher included ( for that maths class it was 2 class combined into 1 room, so 2 teachers). I find it amazing people like him can still be employed for a school that prides itself on the kindness of it's staff. Nowadays things have been going smoothly since he left the school ( fingers crossed he doesn't come back), another reason for the 4 stars and not a 3 stars review. The new buildings are amazing, unlike the old ones from when i was a junior, the new ones actually are capable of keeping people warm during the freezing cold winter mornings. Their very spacious and they look very modern, although a junior who's starting at our school would be confused to find that most of the blocks look identical to other blocks mainly, our RR block, our RT block, and our T block. The only way to tell them apart is by knowing where they are on the school campus. Our new gym is very nice, it has more water fountains than the old one. Construction noises can be loud but one gets used to it after a while and they only do really noisy things either during breaks or after school.

It's a new year. (Happy New Year) I'm officially in College. It's my first semester at this school and at first, I was quite anxious and nervous. After a few days, I met a lot of friendly people.

It's a ok school, I'm on my 12th year of schooling, if you want to have a good chemistry teacher this is the school for one.

It’s a great school. 2 of my children have been to this school and with the good relationship I have with a few of the teachers it make me more at ease to know my kids are safe and are getting a good education.

Great staff, great memories. Unfortunately the schools' buildings are starting to show their age.
