   Overall, it was a pretty mid experience. Most of the teachers didn’t really teach or offer much support. They spent a lot of time dealing with disruptive students, which made it hard for others to focus. The school seemed more focused on sports than academics. There were also lots of teacher-only days and half-days, so we rarely had a full week of school. The hallways weren’t well supervised either, and even when teachers did catch students fighting or vaping, they didn’t seem able to do much about it.

   Its a good school,good education and nice people.But teachers lack on how to deal with racism at this school. I reckon there should be more action taken when i was there and i hope they’ve improved.

   Went for opening day for my soon to be year 9 boy. Being an old boy from 20 years earlier I was pleasantly surprised by how much has changed. So many more subjects and lots more classrooms and buildings. Renovations everywhere. GO SBC!!

   I'm not a parent, but work with the school. I find the school really welcoming and the staff are very caring. The students seem very polite

   The teachers need to get themselves into gear, other than that there are three other schools that your child could go to int the Wellington area... Year 13's leave college without getting the careers advice from the many advice officers at the school they really need the most intergral part of college.
