   This is one of the largest and most well-stocked chemists I’ve come across in Wellington. An Aussie franchise that has made its way to New Zealand shores, this Chemist Warehouse offers an excellent range of products, from medications (with an onsite pharmacist) to toiletries, gifts like perfumes and beauty care packs, supplements, and more. The service is impeccable too, as any staff member on the floor can instantly tell you where to find what you’re looking for. Although, I find the pharmacist is not as personable as others in the city. There are always great sales and promotions. Just be wary of long queues during peak hours (such as after work), although the cashier service is usually fast and efficient.

   A central location especially during the weekdays for those working in the CBD. The store is often packed during lunchtime while everyone tries to get the required necessities. The location is right in the middle of Lambton Quay and on the first floor via a set of escalators. It’s usually stocked up well and often replenished. Queues are often long however you won’t be in it for long as there are many counters opened to encourage a faster flow. Click and collect is easy as well but needs an allocated counter rather than having to join an existing queue.

   Best place to buy your cosmetics, medicine, fitness, health, sanitary, and some gift products under one roof. Reasonable prices and discounted products. Most of the items are cheaper than other places. Variety of products for a variety of prices. Overall Best in Wellington.

   Unhelpful service from Dispensary staff. Wanted a Pharmacy Only Medicine (cream) and asked the lady. "Down aisle 9" I spent 15 minutes looking for it. Went back to counter and they handed me one after much deliberation, I suspect it was there all along. The usual CW retail experience applies with disjointed categories that is no different here. Some prices are good, but be wary of a lot as nobody charges these supposed "RRP" and items can often be had cheaper elsewhere. At least COVID tests are half the Melbourne price.

   Complaint is regarding the Pharmacy. They over rule the doctor's prescription to give medicines. This same prescription I have had for number of time from different Pharmacies without any issue. We consulted doctor and he requested us to go back and ask for the right amount of medicine, but still the Chemist warehouse pharmacist didn't do the needful. First and Last time there for the prescription.

   The manager at lambton quay store is extremely fn rude I come in to compare and beat price, pak n save sell an item I want by $10 less which chemist warehouse says on their website can beat that price by 10% the manager refused to look it up on pak n save website and compared prices using the Grocer app which is not accurate, she starts telling me the app says something else and telling me I am wrong, I told her this app is not accurate and to search on pak n save website, in her words “this app I use all the time it’s not wrong” I than replied it’s wrong I’ve used this same app I’ve gone in store and prices are not always accurate they don’t keep this grocer app updated daily with prices, again in her words “it is right cause I use this app all the time and it’s right” she than refused to look on pak n saves website but she had time to jump on her phone and use the grocer app, I didn’t have data at the time but some really lovely customer offered to hot spot me as she could see and hear what was going on, I than was able to pull it up on my phone, I than thanked the customer and she went on her way, but the manager ask to see it again on my phone but knew I had no way to get on the internet, what a hassle honestly this place has gone down hill immensely, I use to like this specific store but not with this current staff

   The person checking bags at the door was incredibly invasive and inappropriate. He made me pull up my cards transaction history to prove that purchases I made at an entirely separate store were not in fact stolen, touched my personal belongings, and he also made me open a pouch containing feminine products which I thought was unnecessary. He was generally incredibly unprofessional, and I will not be returning to this store as I felt violated by the inspection and he wasted a lot of my time.

   Pretty ballsy of the clerk at the checkout to inform me that the company violates the Consumer Guarantees Act. I'm sure the Commerce Commission would love to know that, too. Two stars because the selection is large and you can find consumables you wouldn't find at other chemists. But I wouldn't buy anything else from them.
