Such excellent service. Made the unpleasant task of drafting new wills and creating power of attorney documents really as easy as it could be. Clearly explained all the legalese jargon and we are super happy to have that life admin task completed. Highly recommend, Conor was a great help and a pleasure to work with.
Consulted with Gibson Sheat Lawyers regarding a Dispute Tribunal case, and requested only a tele conference meeting. Call went fine, friendly person. Immediately after the call received an email with fundamental information that was missed during the call. I then received an invoice for almost 4 times the meeting time, it was apparently for the prep and the summary email. This was never mentioned and I did not ask for the summary email. The prep was also not done well as per above. Emailed my concerns, but no flexibility nor understanding. Invoice had to be paid as is. I was also added to their newsletter without consent. This all left a very bad taste, and will not return. Can't recommend.

We had to refinance a mortgage and used Gibson Sheat, as we had before with a different lawyer (no longer works there) and thought they were good. One business day before settlement they advised that they finally ran the numbers, and finance was more than $10k short!! They had all these figures for months and didn't say anything about this until the last minute. Then I was told they would apply interest everyday for the $10k was left unpaid until it was paid. We had one day to come up with this money, instead of months we should have had if they did their job properly
