   We came to Gibson Sheat in a real bind. With a matter of days before the settlement of our new build house we had a lot of developer issues to address, extreme time pressure, had received bad advice from previous lawyers which all resulted in facing some very serious consequences. From the moment we started working with the team at Gibson Sheat they were calm, knowledgeable, trustworthy and had a plan in the first 5 minutes. Throughout our 9 week interaction, they were nothing but OUTSTANDING. The speed, communications, clarity, time invested, and willingness to get very creative were truly outstanding. We are very grateful to the team there (shout out to Tom and Espoir) and we will be using Gibson Sheat for life. Forever grateful.

   Started off with a pleasant experience only to find the Lawyer i was using was very inexperienced and ended up make a fraudulent document by assuming another lawyer had made my contracting out agreement. Gibson sheat will not take responsibility for this and have sent me a $3000 invoice for editing a already %80 completed document. I will be complaining to the nz law society and will never be using or recommending these guys again.

   Buying and selling houses is stressful at the best of times, mine was especially so when asbestos was discovered and all the ceilings had to be replaced. When everything else around you is complicated and falling apart, it is good to have someone watching your back. I knew that Robyn (Garrow) was always there for me; in ‘my corner’ looking after me and my interests, in a professional yet caring way. She was more than a lawyer, she was a guiding hand steering me through a labyrinth of issues. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

   Edit: It was advised multiple times to call instead of email and all emails were responded to so this is not the cause of your lack of contact. I have since been waiting for a call since may as per email that was sent to me and it has now been another 2 months. It was only followed up on because of this review. Appreciate the offer to complete for free however after 9 months I would rather pay another firm to do it. Thank you. Used Gibson sheat as I am an employee of a bank who uses them so they were reccomended. We used Robyn for our house sale she was amazing nice and easy and great service. However tried to get our wills done and have been waiting 9 months. It's a joke. I will likley pass away from old age before my will is completed. Will go to another law firm to have this done. Definitely do not reccomend.

   Used Gibson Sheat for a variety of legal work. Very impressive firm, and they got the required results. Richard Gordon was exceptional; quickly cutting to the point of what we were trying to achieve, and working out the correct steps to get there. Fantastic phone manner, and clear and concise communication via email. Will be using them in the future for sure. Much better than other lawyers we have used in the past.
