A great campus to attend as a student. Especially if you live in the Northshore or are an international student with on-site accommodation and lots of private accommodation, mall and fast food in the area. Students & staff are very friendly.
This university boasts a beautiful environment and exceptional educational resources. Having been a student here for three years, I found the teachers to be friendly and supportive. The university maintains its facilities meticulously, providing a conducive learning environment. The library, accessible to both students and the public, is a valuable resource. Additionally, the abundance of free parking lots makes accessing the campus convenient. I have a deep appreciation for this university and cherish the time spent here.

I did my Bachelor degree here and I am now a PhD Candidate at a top 20 University in the US. The advice I give to anyone seeking good education is to AVOID this place, even if they offer you full scholarship. I was in the Business school and I can rest assure you what they teach are absolute rubbish. You will not learn anything useful for your career. This is because 1) a lot of lecturers/professors are incompetent in research and teaching. and 2) the University wants to make more money by purposely making courses easy and attract more students. This place is a business where one pays money and receives a degree without learning anything useful. The only possible way for your qualification to actually worth something is to apply for a higher degree at better universities AND your grades are sufficiently good. Otherwise you will be paying a lot of money and spending a lot of time for absolute nothing. The amenities around the campus are terrible. Food is terrible because (I heard) all the existing diners had formed a coalition and did not allow diners to bring in competition. A friend of mine who was also a Massey alumni attempted to open a food truck on campus about 5 years ago. To his surprise, whether an additional food truck could be opened depends not only on the University, but also on the existing diners, and unfortunately existing diners voted him out because they hated competition. If you are a student and if you can't bring your own lunch, just go outside the University to get something. McDonald is within walking distance and even though it is not an ideal place for lunch, it is much better than anything else on campus. They admit more and more students each year but the library is pretty much at the same size as it was 10 years ago. You will have a hard time finding places to study on campus. And as others had pointed out, it is almost impossible to park your car. The University 'claim' they offer free parking, but they make parking lots inadequate on purpose. Any illegal parking will immediately be fined because the University needs money. Buses are also extremely unreliable. Some scheduled buses never arrives and disappears from the schedule. The only thing I like about this University: It is situated at a very beautiful place.

Entire admissions department should be fired. Couldn't organise a p¡ss up in a brewery. Uphill battle and feels like you're actively trying to prevent people studying at Massey. If you're thinking of applying don't bother unless you want to end up crying multiple times out of sheer frustration.
QS ranks fourth out of eight universities in New Zealand, with a relatively small campus size. Massey is the only university with free student parking. He is friendly to students
Great place to learn❤, everyone can use library to study that is very cozy, very friendly for Muslim since many places to pray (prayer room or even under the stairs in library)
