   My family and I (mom and dad) went to escape mate! We booked a room which was the temple and had such a blast! The room itself is VERY well maintained and everything was super amazing! The puzzles are tricky and fun which was nice, we had this sweet lady which this accent but unfortunately me and my family forgot her name(sorry) and she was the most sweetest person ever! Hope she reads this :). My families first time ever coming to an escape room and had some arguments along the way but other than that we had an amazing time. We were stuck on a few puzzles but the nice lady gave us a few clues and even have us extra time since we couldn't complete it in time! Overall I would a hundred percent recommend coming here beginner or not, 5/5!

   Booked this for 4 people and it was such an awesome experience. We throughly enjoyed every bit of it, loved the fact we could go off and solve each puzzle without having to do it in order. When we arrived the girl who served us was lovely from beginning to end I would recommend this room to anyone who wants to try escape room gets your brain working. Looking forward to doing the next room.

   We just want to say thank you for the wonderful party time Izzy gave our 10 year old boy and his friends. They truly believed their mission was to escape the aliens. The Spaceship was incredible! Visually impressive and fun. The kids couldn't stop talking about it afterwards. Thank you Izzy!

   So fun! Did the Temple challenge and the puzzles and graphics and electronics were put together so well. From the beginning, walking down below ground to the location already set the scene. And even though we didn't make the time and given no other booking immediately followed ours, the lovely girl in charge gave us extra time to finish it. So kind. It made our evening. Thank you Escape Mate and our helpful and friendly Commander Nicola that evening.

   We had a fantastic time doing the Atlantis room. It was challenging enough with a good variety of different puzzles. Very interactive which was fun. The experience was made even better by our host - we forget his name but he is from Argentina. He was so kind and passionate and made sure we left with some fun photos and knowledge of how some of the puzzles work! Thank you.

   Went there tonight with friends and had a blast. The entire experience was great. The guy who was working there was very nice, clear and helpful when we asked for help and the escape room was great fun. Great value for money, the rooms also look awesome. 10/10 I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys fun. It was the second time I have been and it was a blast. I guarantee you'll have fun if you go there!

   Really fun escape room in the heart of Wellington. The Gates of Atlantis room required problem solving, logic, hands-on tinkering, and encouraged us to explore and investigate every nook and cranny. This was a very challenging and enjoyable room and we were all able to use different skills to solve it. The staff member on site was also very enthusiastic and helpful - definitely added to the story of the escape room. Would definitely return to try their other rooms.

   A really brilliant experience for our daughters 12th birthday. The team member helping the kids was amazing - got the kids really invested in the story and just the right amount of hints when they needed it but still leaving them independent enough that they were able to feel they had solved the puzzles themselves. We also used the meeting room for pizza and cake which was lovely - a really good sized room and perfect for relaxing in afterward. We had 8 kids and there was plenty of room for us all. We had an absolute blast and are already planning to return. Thank you so very much!

   Before travelling to New Zealand we researched all of the Escape Rooms that we wanted to play and our #1 choice was Atlantis however there was only 2 of us so we chose the Temple game and it was amazing. Fortunately we were there on the day that the Owner was present and she invited us to play Atlantis at the other location. Woowza! It was everything that we hoped it would be and more. The photos don't show the full scope of the game and I won't give away any spoilers but even half of this game is better than most any other games we have played (over 100 each). You won't find a better immersive game than Atlantis. It rivals the best anywhere. If it was in a large European city or LA in the US it would be booked up solid. If you are anywhere close to Wellington, do yourselves a favor and play any of the 3 games from Escape Mate. You will be glad that you did!
