Kereru Kids preschool has a fantastic and skilled team of teachers. They were very supportive and encouraging during the settling in sessions and very patient and optimistic when my son didn't drink out of the bottle at the beginning. He loves it there now and we are very lucky to have such a positive and friendly place in our community.
Ziggy is our third child and we have moved around a fair bit, so we have a fair amount of experience with different childcare centres. Kereru Kids is by far the warmest and child centric centre that we have been to.Β Ziggy had a bad accident just before Xmas and was in a Spica cast for 7 weeks.Β Whilst he wasnβt able to go to daycare (our choice, he was welcome by Kereru but he had very bad separation anxiety due to the accident), the centre was so accommodating during this period.Β They were very understanding and accommodating around fees, gave us plenty of toys to take home and even made home visits to check up on his wellbeing. Ziggy spent his last 2 weeks of his cast doing shorter days at preschool. They really looked after him and it was so good for Ziggy to socialize. Every single teacher was amazing. When Ziggy got his cast off the staff had a plan around how they would care for him for the first couple of months making sure he was able to push himself in a safe environment. We couldnβt have asked for more, and importantly Ziggy absolutely loves going there.Β Highly recommended!
My daughter has only been at Kereru Kids for 6 weeks and the settling in has been amazing. The team is fantastic. They are very attentive and took the time to understand my daughter's interests/needs and develop trusting relationships with her. Creating a safe environment where kids can explore and learn through play is crucial, and it's clear that Kereru Kids prioritises this!
Two of my children go to KererΕ« Kids and love it! Itβs such a lovely place for the children to go each day & all the staff there are absolutely wonderful!!
2 of my children have been through Kaukapakapa Preschool, now known as Kereru Kids, and I have absolutely nothing bad to say about them. Staff and facilities are amazing. It truly felt like a home away from home. My children still ask to pop in there for a play on the way home from school. They have supported myself and my children emotionally and educationally, and it's a truly wonderful place!
Kaukaukaupa preschool has great teachers and staff .I love how they do alot of nature based learning and they are lucky to have such a cool outside area to do it in .
