We do all our weekly shops here, its nearest to our house. Its modern, clean, tidy and has friendly staff. It's always easy to find parking at all hours here.

Five stars for the delicious Great Southern Pie Butter Chicken. Thank you for not selling a dried up pie at that time of the evening. It was still soft and not dried up. After a couple more items I finally got to the car and it hadn't gotten cold. Just the right temperature in that heated cabinet where you get the rotisserie chickens. Thank you again. I wouldn't have enjoyed that pie if it weren't for your temp control on it. I'll be sure to let Gerry's Bakery know too.

Very good Countdown, store is always fully stocked, staff are stacking shelves as you shop. Self checkout is easy, always bags handy to purchase for shopping. Katie is an asset, she knows what she's doing and how to achieve that.

Excellent shop. When I can't get what i want at local shop I go to Tawa. Very nice shop, clean, bright and very easy to find your way around. Spacious aisles. Great bakery. Super meat and deli department. Very good selection of meat products.

Stop for some milk and bread... walk out with 5 full shopping bags! What do you expect when they have a variety of 'reduced price' goods that I somehow really need? The staff are awesome and friendly as well. Ample parking. My 'go to' happy place

One of the bigger stores, seem to have a larger range than other Countdowns. Helpful & efficient staff. Good lighting. Clean. Big carpark. Toilets available (just ask, hard to find). Lotto outlet. No other nearby stores. Easy access as right next to SH1 off-ramp.
