   Went in to Zip Tawa to get prices on a shower, toilet and vanity plus tap ware. The lady there was great, super helpful and was ready to buy. I just needed some advise on the installation. This is where things went wrong... After speaking with the arrogant guy in the service area we won't be buying from Tawa zip. You would expect a place like this wanted business and would be keen to offer advice. Obviously this guy doesn't give a rats about customer service or whether the business does well. Going by what he did say, he really doesn't have a clue about plumbing.

   Went in to replace my shower head and hose. I couldn’t figure out why I couldn’t get the same connection bit. The guy behind the counter figured it out for me and I got exactly what i needed from his recommendation. Super helpful and friendly.

   Went to Zip Plumbing Tawa for a shower hose. Was served by a rude guy that gave the impression l was an inconvenience. He talked to me like I didn’t know what I was asking for when I enquired whether they had shower water filters - he had no idea what I was talking about and asked where I had heard about them. Came home and googled it where I found numerous places in New Zealand selling them. Won’t be going back there.

   10 out of 10. We have an Englefield bath which started ‘bubbling’ 6 months prior to end of warranty and was subsequently deemed a manufacturing fault. It did take a wee while for Zip and us to work through the process of getting approval to replace from manufacturer, but Zip ended up coming to the party and offering replacement of the bath and cover all associated costs. Malcolm from Zip Tawa organised and co-ordinated all the tradespeople required for the job (builder, plumber, and tiler) and as you can imagine, in this new normal world we find ourselves in, it was quite the feat. All the tradespeople involved did an exceptional job. They were professional, respectful, and friendly and we were extremely impressed with the level of workmanship by all. Thank you. And finally, thank you to Zip Tawa for honouring the old kiwi slogan, “it’s the putting right that counts” and they did.

   We went to Zip Plumbing in Tawa today after going to 3 other localbarhroom stores. The service there is amazing. We we're greeted by staff that knew their product, weren't pushy and that sorted us out without breaking the bank. We now have all our bathrooms items purchased for both bathroom renos. Thanks for the amazing service Zip Tawa.

   I have been dealing with zip plumbing for nearly 20 years , I have the massive respect for this company and the founder Stan they are so helpful I can't really understand the couple of bad reviews , I put them down to those people having there own internal issues. I have a plumbing company and recommend staying away from plumbing world and Mico they will give you the most headaches not zip.

   Never ever use this company. After spending over $5k their after service was appalling. They got things wrong several times and caused delays to my renovations and simply were not interested in putting things right. More recently a broken handle on my vanity was not replaced by them and after three months of trying and lack of response it was sorted by a competitor in 3 days. Use the competitors even if its slightly more expensive.
